An amazing location. Stone throw from Rosebank mall, tiny walk within 5 mins walk. Tidy rooms and hotel. Delicious and great breakfast. Silent during sleeps and daily. Honesty bar is an amazing idea and convenient: grab a drink, put down your name and drink, and pay when you check out. Perfect for any type of tourist or travel. Kitchen stuff and receptionists where amazing.

I recently stayed at Home Suite Hotels and had an overall wonderful experience. The hotel was very nice, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which featured an organic theme that was evident in the quality and taste of the food. My favorite part was the delicious pancakes they made for me. However, there were a couple of downsides. Unfortunately, they could not accommodate my request for a late check-out, and they do not serve halal food, which was a bit of a disappointment. Despite these minor issues, I would highly recommend Home Suite Hotels for their excellent service, friendly staff, and great food. Feel free to modify this review as per your preferences.

Gostei: Absolutamente tudo. Já estive em hotéis 5 estrelas que não chegam aos pés do Rosebank. O hotel é realmente sensacional. Começa com o atendimento antes do dia do check inn. No dia, fomos atendidos pela Trish. Impecável. Decidimos comer no hotel. O Steve nos atendeu tanto no fim de tarde quanto a noite. Impecável o atendimento, educação. A todo momento nos perguntando se precisávamos de algo. Excepcional. Quarto: ótimo tamanho e acústica. Cama perfeita. Não pedimos mas você pode escolher tipos de travesseiro que melhor se adapte ao seu gosto. Café da manhã: é realmente tudo o que dizem nos comentários. Fabuloso. Existe um buffet e vc escolhe o que quer comer e uma chef prepara na hora. Eu pedi ovos benedict e minha esposa bagel com bacon e abacate e ovos mechidos. Tudo preparado na hora e com o tempero no ponto. Foi o melhor hotel que ficamos na África do Sul e, talvez, um dos melhoras que já me hospedei. Detalhe especial: as duas cachorrinhas Hazel (idosa) e Miki. Ficam na recepção "atendendo" o hóspedes que acabam de chegar. Muito mansinhas e simpáticas.

I have often stayed here on business but never with my family. They absolutely loved it too. A warm welcome. Beautiful decor. Huge rooms, perfectly appointed. Lots of nice touches. Excellent strong showers and high quality toiletries. Comfy comfy beds & cushions. We had a delicious lunch and wonderful breakfast. Meals are always fresh and delicious here. And they have a rescue dog, called Hazel, who adds a unique touch of heart and care. An old friendly dog, happy to great and welcome all visitors. We’ll all be back.

We were very pleased with the design, decor, and ambience of this hotel. A sudden thunderstorm caused us to dine there, and found the food and service fine. Hazel the dog and the picture books in the stylish public spaces was a nice touch. Staff was very friendly.

A really nice hotel. The only reason for not giving top grade was that we visited the hotel during the winter and as we suspect is the case with also other hotels in Johannesburg some areas were not as heated as would have been preferable (room toilet and dinner/breakfast room). Had we been in summer we probably would have given top grade as it was a nice small hotel with fresh rooms and so on.

I love everything about this hotel! Decor, decadent breakfast, friendly staff, bright, modern and spacious rooms are all amazing. It is 30 minutes from the airport and near the rosebank mall for plenty of dining and shopping options in walking distance. The bedding and linens are plush!

I stayed at this hotel for 6 months and the original staff it started with was incredible, just like family, all members were so kind, exceptionally helpful, personable, and caring - Nonie (receptionist), George (room service), Mac (receptionist), Precious (room service), Bayethe (chef), Muzi (chef) - just to name a few. Then some of these staff members left due to feeling targeted or mistreated when management made a change and made a woman named Demi in-charge. Demi did not only make some of the staff feel uncomfortable, but a lot of guests as well. She, and that change is management, completely ruined the familial, warm, safe environment that once encapsulated Home Suites and made it a cold, unwelcoming space. Moreover, myself and some other guests would be wrongfully accused of things, such as furniture damage which was already there, or other kinds of absurd accusations. It is such a shame that this once lovely boutique hotel turned into the opposite so quickly. I hope they have changes management since I stayed there.

There is a reason this ranks consistently as the top hotel in Josie. Incredible atmosphere, combined with top notch service, a full service cafe, and the cutest hostess dog named Hazel, and you have the ingredients for perfection. We stayed a few nights in room 104 with a picture window. Beautiful room. Stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Das Hotel selber ist in einem sehr schönen Gebäude. Auch Ihnen sehr schön gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls schön eingerichtet und angenehme Grösse. Ebenfalls fanden wir die die Parkmöglichkeiten für unseren Wagen sehr gut Die Parkplätze waren in genügender Menge vorhanden und gut geschützt. Frühstück war ebenfalls gut und ausreichend in der Auswahl. Das Hotel liegt in einer guten Lage in Johannesburg aber selbst hier sollte man bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit nur im Wagen sich bewegen und nicht zu Fuß. Ansonsten fanden wir das Hotel als eine absolute Empfehlung

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and beautifully designed, plus the bathroom was fantastic. The views from the rooftop, especially with all the jacaranda trees in bloom, were beautiful. The food was delicious, and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. An extra highlight was meeting Hazel and Maggie, the adorable rescue doggies, who added a special touch to our visit. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at home suite! The highlight of my visit was the two adorable dogs living there—they were my absolute favorite part of the experience. They added such a warm, homely touch to the place and made it feel so welcoming. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and had excellent service, but those two furry friends truly made my stay unforgettable. If you’re an animal lover, this is the perfect spot for you!

This experience has taken the traditional hotel English breakfast to another level! As an avid hotelier, I am conscious of my gut health, juice with no preservatives to kick off my morning ✅ , what more could a guest ask for though? The deliciousness of real honey straight, from the honey comb... It literally melts in your mouth. 😋 Well, as much as I wanted to taste everything I could see, I kept it clean. Thank you to the staff for making my dining experience memorable before I hit the road with back to back meetings. I'm full to the brim.

Love it, felt like home. Comfortable, stylish, great food, great service, beautiful location (only got 4 stars as some say walk along main road to Rosebank mall not safe, but its only 20rand on uber) amongst wide avenues and jacaranda trees in November. The dogs were the icing on the cake. Not intrusive but happy to sit with you and have a cuddle if you like.
