Not top of the line facilities but this is made up by easy location both to airport and downtown, as well as superb services.
No food is served however, and the stay could be frustrating at times when electricity brownout comes twice a day (not hotel's fault, it is a Joburg municipality issue).
Overall, agreeable experience for this stay and great value for the money!

This is my second time at house on York, this time for business. I am so grateful for all the help I have received and the lovely staff. My room was so beautiful and warm in this cold weather. Gavin was able to help me with transportation to work and the shops that were close by. Thank you all for helping me again!

Such a beautiful guest house. I had a lovely holiday with my family. We were kept warm and were given lovely treats. Lovely quiet and beautiful gardens. The service here is wonderful and we were given transport. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We can definetely recommend House On York to anyone. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable. The surrounding well kept gardens are a pleasure to enjoy with a lovely pool. We found the staff to be so accommodating, and helpful as well. A real gem, conveniently located, close to shops and malls.

The stuff is very friendly, especially a guy named Tino, very professional and nothing is ever too much for him. The rooms are so beautiful and homely that you don't feel like you are home away from home. Beautiful clean garden with a beautiful pool area to relax. Very safe and secure. Close to 3 shopping centers and restaurants.self catering,Uber eats and Mr delivery options Great place for singletons like me, couples and as well as families. a place full ofAwesomeness !

House on york has Tranquil gardens and lovely scenery. They have beautiful paintings and are close to resturants and are very quick for delivery services. The management was very good arranging transport at short notice.

The room was above my expectations. There were so many facilities, a game if area, pool table, gym and even a nail bar! I was given a jet shower and treats on my bed everyday. The guest house is so close to beautiful restaurants like Cut and Craft and Princesa. Gavin was so hospitable and the staff was always willing to help us. Our stay was so relaxing!

Super clean, super breakfast and super friendly staff. Home away from home in Jozi! Close to mall and many local restaurants. Secure parking and always someone on hand to help with any local needs. Gavin the owner is a special host who goes out of his way to welcome you.
