温德姆皇家海崖度假村(Club Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff)

Lovely resort with 2 pools at oceanside. Fantastic staff.So very quiet and a perfect destination to sit and watch the sunset.Wyndham seems to have the best resorts and locations! You will definitely need a car when traveling to the Big Island as there are no real buses to take you around unless you purchase an excursion.

My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay, while vacationing at the Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff resort in Kona. It is perfectly located within all the seaside sights and various restaurants. Scenery was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff Resort to anyone who is considering visiting the Big Island of Hawaii.

We stayed here for 10 incredible days, we are timeshare owners and love it. The reason we picked this resort is because it's ocean front, even though there is no beach it's still pretty awesome. Pros: Location, location, location. Not far from downtown, free parking (though it's very narrow coming in & out), friendly staff. We had a 2 bedroom deluxe with a great view and you can hear the ocean from our balcony. I always like having a kitchen so we don't have to eat every meal out. There was a storage area on the property where you can borrow chairs & umbrellas for the week which we took full advantage of. There are 2 pools, both of which were nice Cons: Resort is outdated, this could be so much more than what it is. It could easily be a 5 star resort but it my opinion it's about a 3 as it stands right now. It would be nice if Wyndham invested some money into it and renovated it. Even though it is very outdated the rooms are still clean and housekeeping was efficient in bringing us whatever we needed. Overall it was a great stay

Sea Cliffs is a good location on the water. The resort itself is outdated and nothing more than a glorified hotel. Our view was of the parking lot and the building in front of us. We booked a 2 bedroom condo for 5 adults. The resort stated 1-king-2-doubles and 1 queen sofa. We checked in and had 1-king, 1-queen and the pullout sofa. Called the front desk and was offered an air mattress for the floor. The concierge and front desk were very nice. Jason booked our golf for the week and put us in touch with the vacation planner for our other excursions. The shampoo and conditioner provided are for 1 day. We had to go to the front desk to get replenishments. (housekeeping didnt provide this service). Same for laundry detergent and dish soap. Every time an outside door is opened you have to reset the ac. The furnishings are old and outdated. Sheets on the pullout sofa were stained. Weve stayed in Kona many times and this was by far our worst resort. I would highly recommend the Kona Resort across the street.

The layout is confusing and room depressing. Kitchen utensil is dirty (likely because they require guest to clean it and take out the gabagae on check out), dinning table is wabbly. pools are small. do not misled by the pictures and do not ruin your vacation by going there. Be fair, if you have an oceanfront suite, may have better feeling.

Liked that we were able to get a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with kitchen. Unit was older but clean. Beds were comfortable. Parking was convenient and we had no problems finding spaces. Enjoyed eating breakfast at the table on the patio. We had to move the table because the sprinklers left a large puddle in the middle of the patio but we made it work for us. Location of Club Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff was very central to the things we wanted to do.

Nice well laid out property. They have 2 pools. One, a quite pool and the other with activities like corn hole and other things to do.

The condo was roomy and clean. The facility worked well for cooking meals and barbeque. The evening sunsets are spectacular and clearly one of the highlights. The Wednesday entertainment is a must, wtih great Hawaiian music and dancing presentation. We watched whales breaching from the pool area. The timeshare people seemed to be getting a little desparate so we avoided them.

We have stayed at the Royal Sea Cliff before and the room which was above ground floor and closer to the water was bigger and in better shape. We thought the room received this time was ok but not as nice as the previous visit. We were still happy with staying in Hawaii and the resort and the service was great. Issues: Battery in living room remote died and we received new batteries; minor inconvenience. The rug in the living room was very slightly lifted and I kept tripping on it. It might be better just to remove it. We felt the kitchen closet would be more easily accessed if it faced the oven. With it facing the refrigerator; it was in a tight corner and just awkward. The shower curtains smell like mildew. It would be nice to have Smart TVs in the bedrooms also; not just the living room. Overall: great stay and would love to return. Thank you Royal Sea Cliff!
