Where to start with this amazing hotel?!! From the moment we walked into the lobby we were blown away. We arrived on the first day of opening for the season. It was very quiet, much to our delight. The receptionist was welcoming and informative and our luggage was taken to our room by a porter. We had a sea facing room, and what a room it was. The view was just stunning, and I’ll tell you now, the sunrises are out of this world! The rooms are spacious, clean and to a very high standard. After settling in and unpacking we went to explore. There is a wonderful little supermarket in the hotel where you can buy pretty much anything you may need during your stay, and if they don’t have it, they’ll endeavour to find it for you. Being the first week of opening not all the bars and restaurants were open straight away, but we were not disappointed. As the week progressed all restaurants opened and the beach bar. The food did not disappoint in the slightest. The Buffet restaurant is delicious and lots to chose from. We also managed to dine in all 3 of the A La Carte restaurants during our stay. Again, the food was wonderful. We met the chef a couple of times and it was very apparent food was very much his passion and incredibly important to him that the food that was served from his restaurants was of the highest quality. I cannot end this review without mentioning the staff. From the cleaning and maintenance staff to the management, every single person was polite, friendly and helpful. We would like to give special thanks to Janina (I’m sorry if I haven’t got the spelling right) from the lobby bar, who was always smiling, happy and very attentive. Eleni from the Greek Restaurant, Nikos and Christina from the Italian restaurant and Vasilis from the Asian restaurant, who all made us feel so welcome and more like family than customers! This was certainly a holiday we will never forget and we will definitely be returning. We would definitely recommend, but don’t go during the 1st week in May…because that’s our week ;)

The hotel was okay Food & drink was decent I’ve had better quality in other hotels though Staff were okay - found you get treated better in other resorts or go self catering! I’ve always preferred Greece self catering Room was spacious and clean Beautiful balcony and views We went when it was raining last year in May and to be honest the weather probably ruined the holiday, the hotel could not accommodate all the guests indoors when it was raining, which I get as it probably doesn’t always happen. The location of the hotel was poor. Had to get taxi / bus into the old town as not walking distance. Wasn’t much around without having to travel

We stayed at the Amada at the beginning of October for 11 nights and were quite nervous after reading some of the reviews however, I must admit this has been one of our favourite holidays and hotels we’ve stayed in. We stayed in a Mountain View room which was beautiful and clean. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis, towels swapped and bottles of water were put into the room every morning. The food was delicious and had a great variety and I found it impossible to get bored of the options as they had themed nights everyday of the week plus with the all inclusive package you’re entitled to eat at the la carte restaurants (Greek, Asian and Italian). Bar service was ace. Yes there were queues sometimes but the queues went down quickly and we never found ourselves waiting for ages or getting annoyed because of the service. The staff are professional and friendly. Can’t fault them. We used the spa facilities a number of times and really enjoyed the packages so it’s well worth checking out. We’ve booked to stay for 14 nights in May 25 and we’re looking forward to visiting the hotel again!

This is a very nice hotel and the staff are what makes the holiday with the work they put in . Getting drink refills during meals can take time but other than that great. Beds not great, shin pads recommended lol. Beware staff enter the room regardless of what the sign says outside. Asian restaurant is not nice, but the Asian themed night is alot better. It's not a 5 star hotel, having stayed in hotels in Lara beach turkey which are better by miles. Having said that, we are returning for 11 nights this year as we enjoyed it so much. Nightime entertainment is the usual hotel standard. Swim up bar is great, the bloke who served us was brilliant They need extra staff for the bars. Queuing for drinks is hit and miss, timing is everything. There is a sign by the restaurant door showing the busiest time for meals so you can work out what time will suit you . Overall it was a very good experience,as I said before we're going back and we've never done that before

I have been all over the world staying at four and five star hotels on package holidays over the years... And this still remains my favourite hotel since staying at the end of September till early October 2022 could not recommend this more they really pulled out all the stops. only one thing I would change if I went again is to get a sea view not a mountain view and pray I get put above the second floor next time.

So nice whole package. We travel with 2 sons (15 and 11 years old). Nice with the beach restaurant also. Every day in water park was fantastic for all. We just booked same package to Amada Colossos coming summer 2024. Waiting to get there! :-)

With 10 & 7 year daughters this holiday gave us everything we hoped for. The hotel is a great family destination, with a stunning, very long beach, calm seas, beach bars and parties as well as a range options for pool, lazy river or water slides. Hard to be ever be bored! The food always offered a range of appealing options for each meal. I miss the lunch time Chicken Gyros served at the beach bar in particular. Staff work so hard and were great with the children. A la carte gave a little variety too mid holiday, Asian was a particular highlight. Rooms were perfect with stunning sea views as requested, walk in shower and comfy beds. Only disappoin**ent was having to sit on concrete steps during the entertainment. Despite cushions being provided & the shows being great I don’t feel 5 star translates to sitting on concrete for 2 hours. However must say this wasn’t the only entertainment offered with other areas providing bands / djs / beach parties etc. This was the only negative we had all holiday! Thank you for the family memories Amada Colossus!

We had a great time when we stayed, hotel is clean. Lots of things to do and places to go. I wanted to write this review to make people aware that we payed lots extra for a swim up room, unfortunately by 2pm each day there was no sun on our patio and infinity pool. This happened everyday not sure if this is the case all year round. But to pay an extra £1000 plus for this luxury to not be able to make the most is a shame, please check before you book. Other than this we really enjoyed it.

This is a big, international-style hotel, with an all-inclusive tarif. This means that all drinks, snacks, food were available to all, at any time. The difference from other hotels we've stayed in was the excellence of the staff's attitude. All of them couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant and the beachfront bar. The hotel also had all the major facilities you could possibly require, from tennis courts to its own water park. Beachfront situation also ideal; a direct bus from the front door to Rhodes town and back again - for €2.50! The food although buffet-style, was in general also very good, and always fresh. Thoroughly recommended.
