Außergewöhnlich gutes Essen. Wir wurden jeden Abend verwöhnt Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, die einem jedem Wunsch von den Augen ablesen Sehr kinderfreundlich. Ruhig gelegen, um sich richtig erholen zu können. Die Kitestion ist auf der anderen Seite der Lagune und bequem mit dem Shuttleboot zu erreichen.

Na een hobbelige zandweg kom je op een afgelegen domein. Je wordt er hartelijk ontvangen en naar je bungalow begeleid. Een zeer nette kamer die uitkijkt op de lagoon, vol met kitesurfers zodra de wind opkomt. Er is een kleine pier met hut die uitkijkt op de lagoon en waar je een prachtige zonsondergang kan zien. Zodra je toekomt kan je je aansluiten op de whatsapp groep voor maaltijden te bestellen, yoga, kitesurfing en alle laatste updates. De kamer wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt en water bijgevuld. Als er geen wind is loopt Matt, de kite instructeur, er ergens rond om mensen te woord te staan voor lessen, anders via whatsapp. De boot gaat van het kitecenter naar de lagoon zodra de wind opduikt en kruist een paar keer na teamwissels of lunch die geleverd wordt. Na drie weken Sri Lanka moet ik eerlijk toegeven dat we hier het best hebben gegeten. De diners schommelen rond 3500 roepies, maar is echt de moeite waard!

Danke an Sam und Team für sämtliche organisatorische Belange! Danke an Fujam für seinen unermüdlichen Einsatz beim Kiteaufbau und Kiteabbau, bei der Starthilfe und beim Bootstransfer! Danke an Imthikaf für seinen Taxidienst und die vielen Infos über Land und Leute! Danke an Bandara für eine außergewöhnliche Yogastunde und eine fordernde und hervorragende Massage! Danke an Matt für die unkomplizierte Bereitstellung der Kiteausrüstung und der immer hilfreichen und fachkundigen Tipps! Danke für diesen entspannten Aufenthalt! Nous avons décidé de finir notre tour du Sri-Lanka par Kalpitiya à défaut de Trincomalee car pas la saison. Nous sommes arrivés dans ce Resort et là. Une atmosphère de bien-être nous a envahi. L'endroit est calme,reposant, romantique et bohème. La chambre avec vu sur le lagon et sa salle de bain ouverte est agréable. Le personnel à la fois disponible et discret. Le chef de cuisine merveilleux. Du petit-déjeuner au dîner. Les canoës pour rejoindre la lagune sont très appréciés. La piscine avec vu sur le lagon est elle aussi magnifique. Cerise sur le gâteau, le ponton pour admirer le couché fe soleil. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

Très joli petit complexe niché au bord d'une lagune. La décoration des chambre est très soignée, simple et de bon goût. La salle de bain est semi-ouverte et tout aussi joliment décorée. Terrasse agréable avec vue sur la lagune où les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques. L'hôtel met à disposition des canoë pour traverser la lagune et atteindre une magnifique plage où il n'y avait littéralement personne. Endroit prisé par les kitesurfers. La piscine est également très belle et agréable ainsi que le salon. Bons repas servis dans la salle de restaurant ou sur la terrasse. Une impression de bout du monde! Calme et sérénité. Massage ayurvédiques super. Un endroit où l'on a envie de revenir.

This hotel is an oasis. It's beautiful, the rooms are nice and big with a very confortable bed and have a terrace facing the lagoon. The food is amazing!!! and there is a kitesurf school right there with a boat that takes you to the beach in front of the hotel if you want. The service is Top Top! They are always available for requests in order to make you feel at home and hace a very special experience. Big thanks to Roshan! His incredible service, professionality and big heart made our stay memorable. Also thanks to Telan for his hospitality and friendliness and all the hotel crew. We will defenitely stay again here if we come back to Kalpitiya! Already missing this place!!

Absolutely amazing retreat ! This is a hidden gem. A beautiful place tucked away by the Lagoon. Superb for kitesurfing. Lovely accommodation right on the water. The staff are incredible and Matt and his team at the Kitesurf Centre are the best.

A lovely place to relax and on windy days (of which there are many) go wind or kite surfing. I tried wind surfing with Matt who was patient and knowledgable. The staff were delightful and the food delicious. They have an excellent chef, who is a cut above, although the food is quite rich, which may not be to everyone’s taste. We did have problems when we arrived - the road from the local town was almost impassable by car - tuk tuk would have been much better - and Google maps tooks us on the worse of the two roads in. Some of this was beyond their control as there had been heavy rain the day before but nevertheless more needs to be done to inform clients of the best way to arrive.
