Un hôtel seulement classe 4 étoiles sur notre circuit découverte Sri Lanka. Et pourtant il en mérite largement 5. Tout est parfait. Niché dans la jungle la réception est époustouflante; la piscine éclatante; le restaurant épatant; sans parler de la chambre qui est tout simplement grandiose. Le personnel est extrêmement attentionné. Bref un régal!

Jetwing Kandy Gallery is the latest addition to the Jetwing hotels and it was opened to public not more than 2 years ago. Staying in the Jetwing Kandy Gallery was an amazing experience and felt that I was just a part of an incredible piece of art. This boutique hotel is situated little far from the busiest Kandy city. The property is located facing the gorgeous “Mahaweli River” giving a picturesque view. It is mesmerizing to see the blending of these natural colors pleasing the eyes. All the rooms are built facing the Mahaweli River and have a breathtaking view. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, no disturbances, you may relax your busy mind and soul as you please. Hotel will arrange a personalized butler to look after you during your stay. The General Manager, Mr. Dilip and his team will go above and beyond to bring your dreams to a reality. It is not just mere customer satisfaction. Kudos to them. And I have no words to convey my gratitude to this incredible, friendly staff who made my stay a remarkable experience. Hotel decoration are done following Kandyan architecture and the aesthetic taste. Chandeliers on the lobby represent the “Gini Bola” in Kandy Perehera. Base colors of the hotel is red and yellow which was basically the base colors of Kandyan arts. Food was incredible and if the weather permits you can enjoy your dinner under the thousand of stars embracing the cool breeze from the Mahaweli River. And I must say their “Ayo Spa” is incredible. The hotel is a great value addition to the amount spent. I highly recommend this place if you really want to blend with the nature.

My experience at Jetwing Gallery Kandy was thoroughly disappointing. The welcome was lackluster, with staff appearing surprised to have us, and there wasn't even a welcome drink. The entire setup felt rigid, and despite being in a perfect location, the service was horrendous. The potential of the place is overshadowed by poor management. Having visited various Jetwing locations, including Yala, Blue, Beach, Sands, and St. Andrews, I've never encountered worse customer service. The refusal to let us use the pool without booking a room added to the frustration. Attempting to discuss this with the general manager proved futile, as he claimed to be too busy, reflecting a disappointing management style that seems to permeate the entire organization. It's disheartening to witness such a gem of a location tarnished by Jetwing Gallery Kandy's subpar standards. Urgent changes in top management or comprehensive training are imperative for this establishment to meet the high standards associated with the Jetwing brand. We ultimately left for Earls Regency, where the service contrast was strikingly superior. Despite its scenic beauty, Jetwing Gallery Kandy falls short in delivering the hospitality Sri Lanka is renowned for, especially in a culturally rich city like Kandy.

Beautiful resort and relatively boutique. Clean, friendly and we had an amazing experience. The only reason I've rated as 4 star and not 5 is because jetwing offer a fabulous training program for locals and all credit to them for this. But it does make the guests keep their patience in check. The staff are very friendly and the hotel manager and his staff put on the most amazing dinner and entertainment for Christmas Eve. It was spectacular. The hotel itself is set just out of kandy which for is was ideal. The views overlooking the lake are gorgeous.

Jetwing Gallery Kandy disappoints families not only with cramped rooms but also with subpar breakfast and dining options. The breakfast offerings might lack variety and quality, failing to meet expectations for a satisfying morning meal. Families seeking a hearty start to their day might find the options limited and below standard. Additionally, the overall food quality might not align with diverse tastes, potentially leaving families dissatisfied with the dining experience. Combined with confined room sizes, the underwhelming breakfast and dining choices further detract from the overall stay, prompting families to seek alternative accommodations with better culinary offerings in Kandy. Lastly, it is very far from city and the road to the hotel is narrow. We had to change hotel after a day staying in the premise.

Stayed for 3 nights on our tour. Fabulous hotel, lovely rooms, so spacious and a balcony overlooking the water. Shame about the unseasonal rain! Restaurant food was absolutely delicious for breakfast and dinner. Loved it here could’ve done with another night. One of our favourites.
