堪薩斯城利伯蒂舒適套房酒店(Comfort Suites Kansas City - Liberty)

I was there for a 3 night stay. The first day we got in the bathroom had a strong smell of pee. We traveled from Kentucky to tired to go and tell the front desk to switch the rooms we waited till next day to get them switched the rooms I asked if I can be refunded and they told me no. So I guess I’m stocked with this nasty place never again.

hotel is old but they have fully refurbished the inside. very nice. the staff had an uncaring attitude. during checkin, desk person allowed me to forget she had my drivers license! no calls to the room to say “hello front desk your drivers license is down here, SIX hours later when i needed it and call the front desk thier poor attitude n service was “ oh its down here” … when i physically retrieved my license the lady excuse was “ oh we thought you where at work?”

First room they put me in smelled like dog urine, it was horrible. Second room they put me in smelled less bad, but still didn't smell "clean." There was also areas of mold on the walls, but this was the last room they had. Even with the air on all night, things still felt damp and musty smelling.

The room was large, clean and had plenty of towels, pillows, etc. the included breakfast buffet was good, with plenty of options including eggs, waffles, yogurt, breads and cereal. Nice tidy gym and pool area. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

I absolutely would never stay at this property again. EVER. The price was good but the ratings should never be that high on **********. I travel full time and i can tell what property Is bad and one that is struggling. This property is being run by people who don’t want to spend any money. They think they can save a buck by painting themselves or cleaning the rooms and waiting to upgrade the property to this century. Family run, they don’t even have trained housekeepers cleaning the rooms. Dirt and dust in corners, clothing stickers on walls. Broken items. I had 2 bugs in bathroom i killed in second floor and i had to lay a towel in shower there was black build up where people stand. The rooms are so old and tired and just plain filthy. The owner i would assume Meera who has a custom plate on big Tesla who is always parked in handicapped spot but has no placard or license plate.. so disrespectful to people that may need those spots. You can tell who cares and who doesn’t. I wouldn’t have even wrote a review but that was the last straw. I just knew i would never ever stay here again. Perception is everything and don’t think people arent always watching… especially people who work in customer service.

On arrival we had our reservation and I always read the fine brand of everything and make sure that I'm not missing any fees and they ask for a credit card when I got there I said no problem I had about $90 on my credit card so I was like OK that will be fine and then I get told that they're going to charge a $100 fee to be placed on my credit card and Then my wife gave them a different credit card to put it on and the money still has not been put back on her card. Then we got up to the room and the room smelled really musty and like cigarette smoke and we ask for a non-smoking room because of my asthma Not to mention the beds were very hard and uncomfortable I couldn't have a worse experience at this hotel

Breakfast was decent, breakfast staff was excellent. Check in was slow but eventually pretty smooth. Highly disappointed with the beds. Sheets not cleaned and mattresses were definitely poor quality. Overall a good experience considering all negative factors. Room was quiet and stay was uneventful, which is always nice when you need the sleep, as we did. I’d probably go back if a hotel stay was necessary again.

Very quiet and soundproof rooms. Helpful reception. Basic cooked breakfast, not enough variety, sausage and eggs only. Biggest moan is lack of regular bedroom housekeeping. I know hotels have cut back here, but trash needs emptying and wet towels at the very least daily. However, Comfort Suites are very good value compared to local competition, so I guess you can't have it all ways.

I loved the whole experience. Nice knowledgeable staff. Pool was clean and warm. Atmosphere was relaxing and breakfast was great!
