I was dream to stay at traditional Kashmiri houseboat at Dal Lake which came true atlast. My experience was amazing. A traditional  Kashmiri wodden interiors offering a cozy and cultural atmosphere.  This location is also very good which is connected with Ghat no 12. They had offered Peak up and drop service from ghat as free of cost. We had three rooms. All were good with basic amenities. I must say about washroom which had modern amenities, proper ventilation and consistent Water pressure. Washroom was clean also. They offered home cooked meals, noting the delicious taste and the warmth of the hospitality. Staff's were cordial and attentive. Best stay ever. Highly recommended.

On 6th of June 2023, we booked three rooms for 6 adults and two children of 12 years age. Though three adults are allowed to stay in one room the owner Aiyaz insisted to charge extra for the children. We were accompanied by one extra person taking our numbers to 9 for three rooms.. We were willing to pay demanded charges, but the way Mr Aiyaz behaved using threatening and humiliating language the whole mood was spoilt. The boat is located in a very dirty corner of the lake and the view from the room windows is completely blocked by other houseboats. The upkeep of the boat is not upto the mark, the toilet seat in one room was broken and we had to argue hard for a repair. The food was okay, but there was nothing to relish about it. Rooftop access is not granted. We were allowed to unwind in the front deck which a small and uncomfortable place to sit in a group. It is a total waste of money and mood to stay at this place.

I Stayed in the house boat on 23rd June 2022 with my family I Did not like anything. This houseboat was so disgusting, Horrible customer Service, specially staff is so rude,i highly recommend not to stay in this houseboat
