Nein. Fast keine Handtücher am Pool. Nur auf Nachfrage. Essen geht so. Service am Pool gar nicht vorhanden und die Bar am Pool ist so gut wie nicht besetzt. Ist schwer bei den Temperaturen mit so wenig trinken aus zu kommen. Sehr schwach. Leider nicht zu empfehlen obwohl die Optik des hotels sehr schön ist. Ich würde nicht mehr hier her kommen da der Service das wichtigste ist und ich bin nicht kleinlich.

Struttura enorme, con grandi buffet, molto frequentata da americani. Non è stato il mio posto preferito, ma doveva essere solo di appoggio in vista del rientro a casa. Per cui direi comodo e funzionale. Per i miei gusti un po’ troppo caos, cibo così così, staff ok.

Nous y avons passé une nuit. Le cadre est magnifique avec un grand baobab au centre du lodge. Des animaux se promènent en toute liberté sur les espaces verts. Les chambres sont confortables. Le buffet est intéressant avec un large choix de mets. Attention, toutefois, certains plats peuvent être très épicés. Les safaris sur la rivière et dans le parc de CHOBE sont super bien organisés. Nous y avons vu une multitude d'animaux (lions, éléphants, girafes, etc...). Les guides sont au top et prennent le temps pour expliquer le mode de vie de ces animaux et nous laissent le temps de prendre des photos. Par contre, gros, gros point négatif : la salle de restauration. On est plus sur l'ambiance d'une cantine scolaire que d'un lodge. En raison d'un nombre important de client, elle est très bruyante et après le safari du matin, c'est la ruée vers les plats pour le brunch..... C'est vraiment dommage pour ce superbe lieu.

We visited for lunch as part of our safari with big groups of others so must be the norm. The whole place looks amazing, great facilities and the food was lovely. There was some confusion over the pricing of our drinks and having paid in dollars we received change in Pulas, but not the end of the world. I'm sure anyone staying here will have an incredible time!

Was in kasane for business and stayed at cresta mowana. Had a free weekend there. Great place to stay, room was clean and comfortable and shower was huge. No water pressure or AC issues and water got super hot in shower. Did night game drive which was great, boar cruise, morning game drive and trip to vic falls excellent. Everything runs very smoothly. Staff extremely nice and hospitable. Had breakfast each day and 2 dinners since I was outside for work and the food was good. Something for everyone. They also have a gym so you can get in a workout. It is an upgrade from basic hotel gym but it is not your local gym at home. Small but a lot packed in and a varied selection of dumbells and machines. I would stay here again.

Cresta Mowana has the full package to enjoy the Safari experience in the beautiful landscape of Botswana. From lovely hotel stay, to boat cruises, to game drives, and to Victoria Falls. Great staff hospitality made our stay amazing!

Cresta Mowana Resort offers the best Chobe, Botswana African experience as it is situated right in the heart of Kasane and just few kilometers from both Zambia and Zimbabwe borders also few kilometers to the entrance of the Chobe National Park both on land and in Water. It offers the best accomodations, activities, food as well as best swimming pools in Chobe. Cresta Mowana Resort is your only choice when embarking on a journey to Botswana.

Reception was very good. I leave with limited mobility they were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Upon my departure, I was informed that there was delay by 3 hours for my flight. I was informed 2 hours towards check-in. Mowana allowed me to use the room for that 2 hours waiting period. Thank you Mowana Management and Staff

Located on the river, where animals thrive. Very close to Chobe Park where game drives are offered early, late morning, afternoon and night. They also offer a river ride which was great. Hotel service is outstanding, room very nice and food choices are numerous.

The Cresta Mowana and its iconic baobab trees are a welcome retreat after safari drives. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Sadly, the restaurant seems to have been redone with no consideration of the noise raised by dozens of diners. Some noise-reducing measures would be welcome. It was fun to watch the warthogs and bush buck trimming grass and shrubs in front of our room! Staff is friendly though service in the restaurant could be improved. Often serving bowls in the buffet would be empty for quite some time before being refilled. The serving dishes for the hot foods are awkward and in fact, I was badly splashed with hot tomato sauce when another diner opened a dish causing the lid of the one I was using to fall. Fortunately I was not burned though my shirt was stained. Setting with the Chobe River in front is superb. Watching monkeys in the trees outside the restaurant at mealtime provides great entertainment! Safari drives and boat trips are excellent. The Chobe never disappoints.

Best ever. The thing that I mostly judge in hotels is the food. You can stumble in many areas and I wouldn't complain much but when it comes to food, you can never, and I mean "never" not be your best while serving me. With that being said, I believe the Chef needs to be rewarded double their salary for a whole 6 months for their excellent cooking. The breakfast was different from the usual breakfast package normally served in hotels and as for the lunch, oh maaaaaaan, awesome. Mxwaaaaaa! I will never forget this place, ever. To the Chef, keep it up buddy. To even think you passed by during lunch to ask everyone how was the food was awesome. It showed you really put heart into your work. I loved this place. All the other aspects of the whole service offered were brilliant too but I had to emphasise on just how good the food was.

The hotel is very well situated by the bank of River Chobe. Loved the setup! Impressed by the seamless check-in by Malebogo upon arrival. We had a suite and an inter-leading double room facing the lake. The rooms were spacious and clean. Wifi in rooms worked perfectly. Appreciated the daily turndown service. Restaurant and kitchen: Restaurant is also well located with a nice view on the river. The kitchen tries to cater a variety of food products. However, there were few loopholes which they need to improve especially on the quality of food. The viennoiseries we were served for breakfast were not well baked, the rice on dinner buffet was not well cooked, some vegetables were still raw, roasted chicken and beef were kept next to each other on the same board and the same knife was being used for both. This was actually unacceptable! Otherwise all other food products were nice. Enjoyed the full body deep tissue massage, relaxation massage, pedicure and foot massage. The sunset boat cruise and game drive were amazing. We discovered Kasane’s rich and wild flora and fauna! Moreover, the guided tour to Victoria Falls was undeniably the cherry on top of the cake! It was the most appreciated tour to wrap up our holiday! All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel needs to improve on the quality of food and food service. We definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you!

Great location nice staff. Many food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but food from the buffet was not very warm.. Tours are available at tour desk, but be sure to check other choices on the web.
