J'ai séjourné 10 jours dans l'établissement avec mes 2 enfants, le ménage a été fait tout les jours. On nous à régulièrement changer nos serviettes de toilettes et changé nos draps. Tout les matins l'extérieur est nettoyer et ranger au niveaux de la piscines. Les points encore plus positifs,la sécurité,le calme de l'établissement tenu par une famille très chaleureuse et notre appartement était super bien située très joliment fleuris .

Ich war für einen Kurztrip (4 Nächte) in der Unterkunft und muss sagen sie war echt perfekt für meinen Aufenthalt! Tagsüber war ich viel unterwegs und hab die Gegend erkundet, was man vom Apartment aus sehr gut mit dem Bus machen konnte. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist völlig ausreichend wenn man plant sich selbst zu versorgen. Mir hat es dort an nichts gefehlt und die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich zu jederzeit super lieb und hilfsbereit. Ich hab mich rundum wohl gefühlt und freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch!

If your looking for a quiet and relaxing time Rena apartments are ideal. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Aris, Rena and Tina made our stay so enjoyable. I loved the pool area and the apartments are charming, traditional and clean. The shower is small but the bath towels were so soft. The on-site mini market is well stocked and very reasonable. It is about a 25 min walk to the centre and 15 mins to the beach. There is a main road to cross at the end of the road the pedestrian lights weren't working when we were there, but once across we loved the walk down to the centre and beach with several bars, shops and restaurants along the way. Wouldn't recommend walking back once dark we always got taxi back for around €8 to €10 which the bar or restaurant you're in will order for you. Everyone we met were so nice and friendly really felt like they wanted to add to you having a lovely time while in Crete.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. However to say basic is generous the rooms have no facilities - the shower is the size of a sink and ours had no wall bracket, there is no tv, no WiFi in the rooms and you truly are a good 15 minute walk from everywhere. The hotel opposite plays very loud music until around 11pm most nights so you have to be relaxed about that as it is inescapable. We opted to pay for breakfast. You get a coffee each and a juice. There isn’t a buffet just what they bring you which is two eggs, tomatoes cheese ham cucumber olives and feta cheese. Every day. We only realised on the last day that we could request scrambled eggs or omelette rather than runny fried eggs. Again - the staff are friendly and kind and the pool area is pretty with nice flowers but that’s probably all I can say. Our best day was when we left Gouves by bus and went into Heraklion itself which is incredible. Bus services are brilliant as well really good and easy to use and the bus stop is close by. Gouves itself is very limited. There is one really nice bar called Island bar the rest are very touristy and nothing special. People are friendly, the sea and beaches are beautiful but the hotel is poorly located and very very basic.
