Sasha Transit Hotel

Lovely little hotel. Our first hotel on our tour and it was a great start. Friendly staff. Great breakfast on a lovely rooftop terrace. Staff are very friendly. The room was great, really comfy bed and pillows, lovely shower. Sit and have a drink on the roof terrace in the evening.

Ultimo hotel del nostro tour in Sri Lanka, a mezz'ora di distanza dall'aeroporto dove saremmo partiti il giorno dopo alla volta delle Maldive. All'apparenza un palazzo stile condominio senza identità, all'interno invece le camere erano molto funzionali, con aria condizionata silenziosa, bagno di buone dimensioni, e soprattutto infissi che garantivano una buona insonorizzazione rispetto al traffico esterno. All'ultimo piano ristorante con terrazza dove abbiamo cenato e fatto la prima colazione. Angolo piano bar/karaoke dove qualche partecipante del gruppo si è scatenato con canzoni italiane/straniere !!

Do not eat there!! Ristorante all ultimo piano dell hotel, ci abbiamo passato l ultima sera prima della partenza dallo Sri Lanka. Cibo (pesce) surgelato, pre cotto, cattivissimo. Trappola per turisti, cenate ovunque ma non mangiate qui!!

Lost room key and hotel charged 10 times the cost. When yold manager can have cheaper in Colombo , he arrogantly told to go buy and replace 2 nights no room cleaning or any service Rooms smell tobacco despite none smoking room Breakfast , worse coffee ever drunk. The food court ground level better F&B night service good

I was trying to find another hotel near the airport but the taxi driver was terrible and couldn’t find it. After growing frustrated I finally had him drop me off in front of this hotel at 3:30 in the morning, hoping someone was awake and was generous enough to offer me a room. I probably would have paid a thousand dollars for anything at that moment. Lucky for me they had a room available at a fair price, I was pleasantly surprised - the room was very clean and had everything I needed to unwind after a long journey from California. A/c kicked in strong, wi-fi was good and a little bit comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful about getting me a proper adapter to change my dead phone battery. Although it was a short sleep I was happy to have some coffee and breakfast on the roof top restaurant. Nothing is more appreciated than finding what you need after a long and problem filled journey. In an unfamiliar country, it’s late and dark. This find was a godsend!

We had a wonderful stay with the help of Mr. Bibile. Clean, great very comfortable room, great staff and fantastic food! We enjoyed our stay fully and recommend this hotel to all overseas and local travelers.

We stayed at Sasha Transit Hotel Seeduwa for three weeks. During this time we thoroughly enjoyed the food in the Sky Garden as well as their restaurant downstairs. The room was spacious, clean n well equipped. The only slightly negative point was the few times the traffic noise was loud. It was audible from the room though it was not loud enough to be irritating or disturbing. All in all Sasha is an excellent value for the very reasonable price they charged. It was only few days to begin with month of October and I was getting ready for the usual month end work schedule when I was informed that I am positive with Covid -19. Even by that time I already knew that company has arranged a hotel for quarantine process for the colleagues who are already effected with same issue of the pandemic. I reached the hotel within few hours time and received a warm welcome from the hotel and the medical team who were always ready to extend their assistance for the guests, or the "patients" in technical term for new atmosphere. With the social experience I gathered during last few months with the pandemic situation I really wasn't expecting this type of hospitality and the care which I received from the each member of the team and it was just Excellent. The location is with easy access from the Negambo main road and the rooms are maintained in an acceptable condition with necessary facilities required for the new guests type. Also comparatively the rates are very reasonable of both rooms and food and best part of the hotel is operating with its own branded food court which you may fell in love with the menu of it after spending few days in room quarantine. The both Sasha hotel and New Sethma hospital teams are really friendly and hospitable and they made my 10 nights at the hotel is peaceful and comfortable. A special Thank goes to Mr Nalaka who really take care of it's guests and I strongly recommend the both hospitality and medical services that they offer with kind heart. GKA
