品納瓦拉綠葉花園民宿(Green Leaves Garden - Pinnawala)

In the transition from 2023 to 2024, we traveled Sri Lanka with our family for 24 days, including 18 days with driver Anushka from GREEN LEAVES GARDEN @ Pinnawala. We had a lovely stay @ his homestay where we were welcomed with much warmth and love by his caring family. The AC room was cosy and clean, the beds were good, the little pool perfect for the kids! The homemade curries and breakfast were unforgettable! As a driver, based on our wishes and needs, Anushka created an itinerary perfectly tailored to our size and that of our children (ages 7 and 8). He was super friendly, attentive and respectful. He knows the places he took us to, has a lot of knowledge and background information, acts correctly and with respect for all parties. If it proved necessary, for example because of weather conditions or the children's pace, he adjusted the plan with us. Finally, he drove us carefully and safely through the hectic streets of Sri Lanka. We felt very safe at all times. Ils partagent avec vous bien plus que leur succulents repas, on se sent chez eux comme à la maison, et toujours avec le sourire, la bienveillance, c’est une magnifique famille où il y a beaucoup d’amour, de joie ! Et si votre anglais n’est pas parfait, tout comme le nôtre, vous aurez la chance de pouvoir parler et partager avec Cham, la radieuse et joyeuse sœur d’Anushka, qui maîtrise parfaitement notre langue, ce qui est très rare ici, car elle est professeur de français. Anushka vous donnera le meilleur du Sri Lanka, en vous faisant découvrir de nombreux sites hors des sentiers battus, qui sont sur aucun guide et qui vous donnera la meilleure expérience de ce magnifique pays. J’ai déjà beaucoup voyagé, mais je n’ai jamais eu un tel guide, aussi attentionné, courtois, instruit, et drôle, et lorsque je reviendrais pour découvrir encore d’autres endroits et facettes du Sri Lanka, je ferais appel qu’à lui ! N’hésitez pas une seule seconde !

What a family, and what a place! As a couple we have travelled quite extensively and can honestly say: never have we been treated with such great hospitality. From tour guiding and cooking to being great company and exceptional hosts; Anushka and his family checks all the boxes. The room is cosy and clean, and you can feel the effort that has been put into the place. 11/10 ⭐ from us.

This is the best place if you plan to come to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. Anushka and his family are very polite, kind and hospitable. They prepare local food for you to try, the place is surrounded by vegetation which allows you to enjoy your stay twice as much. If you need a tourist guide, Anushka is more than an expert, he knows a lot and he can take you to visit all the places in Sri Lanka❤️

Our 2-night stay at Anushka's Airbnb in Mawanella was simply incredible! Anushka and his family immersed us in Sri Lankan culture, creating unforgettable memories. We felt like part of the family and enjoyed every moment, from visiting a beautiful temple to relaxing by the pool. The food was a delightful highlight, and Anushka had a wealth of ideas and suggestions for things to do in the area. Plus, the location is conveniently near Pinnawala, where you can find a lot of elephants. Anushka's place is a solid 10/10 – a warm, cultural, and relaxing experience.
