羅姆尼公寓及套房(Romneys Apartments & Suites)

Lovely lodge . Perfect for 3 of us for a couple of days . Friends mini break. Only slight problem was it was slightly too warm in the night and the heating ( if that was what it was) was loud when it kept coming on in the night. That is being picky though and it is a beautiful lodge.

Check-in was super easy and on arriving in the room everything was exceptionally clean, tidy and well equipped. Everything we needed was available and the onsite restaurant served good food at very reasonable prices. My only criticism would be that the restaurant was very noisy and the service could have been better (drinks and meals were out of sync and were asked if we had ordered by x3 members of staff). Aside from that, this is a lovely place to stay and only a short walk from the town centre so would definitely stay again

Great staff and very freindly. Accomodation and food was superb and a very unique building. Hight recommended.

We stayed in Snug 2 for a night on Thursday, the snug was absolutely beautiful & so clean. The living area was great for 2 people & the bed was really comfy. The room was a little warm but we kept the windows open, you could hear the road in the morning but that is to be expected. We didn't sleep well at all due to the snugs being in an old building with thin walls, we heard next door walking around all night so this was a shame. The pub itself is stunning and well priced, the food was also lovely. The manager called us after we had checked out and apologised for our poor sleep & offered us a partial refund which was a lovely gesture. We would stay again but hopefully with quieter neighbours :)

My daughter and I stayed for one night in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean, warm and cosy. We had a carvery dinner in the restaurant which was very nice. The staff were really nice and friendly. We stayed on a Sunday evening and the place was very busy but we were served quickly and efficiently. We wished we could have stayed longer and we will definitely stay again when we are back in the area.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. Very very overpriced, poor kitchen equipment, 2 tiny little milk sachets which wouldn't even do one cup of tea, dusty, leaking radiator, broken latch on the window, a unsightly view from our window, no soap or towel for the bathroom, downstairs t.v was stood on a little box which looked totally out of place, Staff were lovely and friendly couldn't fault them. This room should of been half the price regardless if it's Christmas or not.

I recently stayed at Romney's Apartments (Lodge 3) as part of a short family get-away, it was ideally located for some of the places we wanted to visit, and the fact that it was attached to a pub was a bonus. The apartment itself was only average, the main plus points were that it had comfortable seats (all be it crammed in) and a nice Kitchen area which was nice to keep a few snacks in, much easier to make a hot drink in a kitchen rather than a tray in the bedroom like some places. Some of the down points about the apartment however were pretty annoying, the bathroom was the size of a cupboard, when using the toilet you could actually rest your head against the door and it had no real ventilation so if you wanted the room to dry out after you'd had a shower you'd have to leave the door open into the main living space for a couple of hours. Another annoying thing was that none of the bedroom doors in the whole apartment actually closed, the door handles must have been badly fitted or something because if you wanted to keep them closed while you were getting changed for example you'd have to lean something against them to keep them shut, and finally unfortunately the dishwasher in the kitchen area did not function. It is a shame that the apartment wasn't given more thought and attention because it feels like it could be a really great place to stay. P.s. Also somewhere dry your towels after use would have been useful.
