This is our ‘boomerang’ hotel. We keep going back. And for good reason; it is pretty much close to perfect. Great staff , great food, and a marvellous location, beside a picturesque stream with falls and a bridge dating to the 1770 ‘s. This time we discovered lovely walks around the bay on the way into Kenmare.

Un bel établissement à proximité de Kenmare. Petit déjeuner qui offre un large choix de produits sans gluten. N’hésitez pas à opter pour les pancakes ! Salle de gym en rénovation actuellement donc vous pouvez être conduit dans la salle de gym d’un autre hôtel de la ville et récupéré à l’heure que vous souhaitez. Personnel agréable, plusieurs français y travaillent d’ailleurs.

Hemos tenido una estancia en familia maravillosa. Es un lugar que invita al relax. Habitaciones amplias y muy cómodas. El paseo en caballlo en familia memorable. Muy cómodo el transfer al pueblo. Super recomendable!

Service mediocre, bar staff almost seem frustrated by your presence and check-in was awkward and unsmooth, had to wait a good while for our room to be ready. Tried to order room service later on in the evening and was met by extremely unhelpful service and told cold food was only available, and barely any selection, followed by warning i should realise it would take a while. Really not 5* service,

Dieses Hotel liegt wunderschön am Atlantik in einem herrlichen Garten. Die Zimmer sind großzügig eingerichtet und man braucht schier eine Leiter um ins Bett zu kommen. Das Bad verfügt sogar über ein Bidet, hatte jedoch nur eine Wannendusche. Der Zimmerservice kommt zwei Mal am Tag. Zum Frühstück kann man zwischen einigen Speisen aus der Küche wählen oder sich am Buffet bedienen. Auch die Bar und das "Stables" sind ein Besuch wert. Wir haben am Abend dort gegessen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Auch hier ist der Service aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Für Autos steht ein kostenfreier, sehr großer Parkplatz zur Verfügung und es ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen.

The food for dinner was worst I’ve ever had. Complained to staff and reception and they just shrugged. Room was lovely but I would never again go back. Dinner was €98 per person and so very disappointing. If they even gave us the wine for free it would be great but to be ignored!

Great Hotel, fantastic Food. Rooms are spacious, Nespresso machine, water, local apple juice in the fridge - all complementary. Swim and steam room before dinner. The spa and pool area are not massive but get the job done. We ate in the Brasserie restaurant for dinner. Really good food. My wife is Coeliac and the waiters were very informative and looked after us very well. Few drinks in the main bar in the hotel afterwards and sitting by the open fire on a winters evening. Just perfect. Lovely breakfast the following morning, looking out at the falls. Breakfast a mixture of buffet and table service. Walk around the extensive grounds then afterwards to burn in off. No complaints. Solid hotel and worthy of its 5 stars for the service, setting and food.

Heerlijk comfortabel, kleinschalig, rustig, luxe. Het personeel is fantastisch, het uitzicht is prachtig. Uitgebreid ontbijt in een mooi restaurant. We hebben er genoten en hadden langer willen blijven, ook al omdat de omgeving zo mooi is. Een aanrader!

Sheen Falls Lodge is a really special place. We stayed for a family break with our 3 teenage children and every member of our family loved it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The service is warm, efficient and friendly in reception, bar and restaurants. Breakfast and dinner were unforgettable. We walked the grounds, played tennis and did horse riding. The health club is excellent and we had a really valuable gym session with Finn. A highlight for us was dinner in the Falls restaurant with wine pairings chosen by José. Highly highly recommend

Beautiful setting overlong Sheen Falls. Very comfortable rooms, very good dining options. Lots of activities available on site from horse back riding to fishing. Lovely property to explore by foot and a short walk to a charming little village just outside of the gates.

Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel courant Avril. La suite 209 offre une vue incroyable sur le pont, et l’entrée de l’estuaire. Calme absolue. Le personnel est attentionné et aux petits soins pour nous permettre un séjour très agréable. Le petit déjeuner fut gargantuesque et d’une qualité irréprochable scramble eggs maison….Merci à Eva pour nous avoir accompagné dans nos différents choix. Et merci à toute l’équipe de ce très bel établissement.

This place is on another level of awesomeness it's like steping back in time. the sitting areas are really nice and the restaurants and bar areas are perfect but the real reason for this review is to tell you about the horseback riding it wasn't just hoping on the back of a horse and walking single file thru a trail no it's just you and a guide or your family and a guid and it's more like a lesson then a ride I actually got to trot and run my horse it was an experience that I'll remember forever thanks again.

Stunning hotel with stunning grounds and amazingly attentive and friendly staff Rooms are spacious and comfortable and definitely 5 star Sitting in the outside beer garden which was delightful was made even more special when we spotted a seal feeding on the fish coming down the stream which runs along side the hotel grounds with gushing water falls making a truly relaxing atmosphere We arrived 3 hours early and they made arrangements for us to take a room that was ready We are truly thankful for the amazing staff making this stay all we had hopes for Don’t stay anywhere else this place is fabulous Truly
