I stayed at The Gilmore for a night this week. The hotel is right in the centre of Ketchakin on Front Street, near the cruise port, shops, museums etc and they offer a free on-demand shuttle to the airport ferry which is really handy. The hotel is in a really nice building and it is old so there's no lift but the staff were really helpful assisting with bags. My room was quite small and basic- the ensuite really could do with some tlc and the toiletries were very basic. The bed was comfortable though. No tea/ coffee in the room but it is available on the 1st floor landing 24hrs a day. There was no recognition of Wyndham Rewards status. All in all, it was OK for a night but I wouldn't rush to return, especially for the price which didn't represent very good value in my mind.
