佛羅里達基拉戈歡朋酒店(Hampton Inn Key Largo)

Pros: Perfect location to go snorkeling at Pennecamp which I highly recommend. Close to some nice places to eat. Outdoor area with the little beach, tiki bar, cornhole and pool was nice, especially for families. Lots of iguanas by the pool which was fun to watch. Most staff were nice and friendly. Housekeeper was really nice. Second room we had was near the pool and I enjoyed it. Cons: the lady who checked us in was rude and just wanted us gone. The other lady at the desk was friendly to her guests. She also checked us out with the same attitude. The first night, the carpet in our room was wet and the ac sounded like a tea kettle all night and we got no sleep. The sheets and the towels in that room were like sandpaper and the mattress uncomfortable. (Room 142) The next day we moved to a different room which was was nicer. (Room 119) Bed was still not comfortable, but we did get some sleep. They didn't offer us any compensation, but we didn't ask so that's on us.

The staff was not welcoming at all, acted as if they didn't want to be there. The shower only had 1 glass on it. No sliding door. You had to get in the shower to turn it on and jump out real quick to let it warm up. Water got all over the bathroom floor and our towels due to it not having proper shower doors. The breakfast was ok. The exhaust fan didn't work in the bathroom. Would not recommend for the price.

So the property itself was a little lack luster. Rooms are older and beach was not what we expected.Part due to us not realizing what type of area Key largo was, not really a beach area. Even the most talked about beaches, aren't truly not like a beach. After we realized it's more like an upnorth feel at coral reefs, more "out on a boat' type of place....it made sense....Overall in the end it ended up really nice! At our Hampton hotel we saw a Manatee one morning right next to us just at the beach at the hotel, a baby shark and Jelly fish as we kayaked.igunas hanging out in the morning on the lawn. It was really a beautiful place to be. To top it, Erta at Hampton Inn is really who helped make it nice. She knew we were disappointed initially & tried to make it better. Her friendly attitude and helpful way was amazing! She would make us come back again for sure! Thank you Erta for making our stay so much better! You truly helped us enjoy our stay!

We have loved our stay here. The amenities are comfortable and very beautiful. Whether you are traveling with kids, pets or your partner, the beach, pool, tiki bar and full hot breakfast will absolutely blow you away. Cannot wait to book another trip down here!

This hotel is a little gem. Loved the little beach and renting the kayaks and watching the sunsets. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well run place.The property is well maintainedand the grounds are lovely. The iguanas were a surprise and my husband loved feeding them. The breakfast was good with a wonderful fruit salad. I would stay here again.

Christine at the front desk started it off fantastic, she was great and so helpful!! And the rest of the staff was just as great as Christine!! Beautiful setting for the sunset!! Would definitely book again!!

I liked watching the sunsets and laying on the beach (actually gravel) under the palm trees. The "garden view" rooms were actually patios with big palms and other plants to block your view of the parking lot! Breakfast was good for what it is. Staff was excellent everywhere in the building . Hardworking and friendly. Rooms need major updating. Changed room 1st night due to mold on bathroom ceiling, cracked marble, clogged sink, smelled, and dingy. After 1 night in another room, had to leave at 10:00 pm due to electrical fire smell coming from air conditioner. Third room the lock was broken and air conditioner sounded like a jet taking off. Didn't sleep. Overall, would not recommend this hotel due to too many maintenance problems that need to be addressed.

We really enjoyed staying at this property! Our room was on the first floor and we had convenient access right off our balcony to the parking lot and outside areas. The pool was very nice- spacious, clean. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the various sized iguanas on the lawn and in the trees! The beach area was really nice, too! We had a small manatee swim right up to us. There were two of them and it was an awesome experience! We didn’t use them but there were kayaks for rent. It’s a perfect area for kayaking around the coast and the mangroves. Our room was exactly what we’ve come to expect from Hampton Inns!!

The beach was lovely. Very quiet and no fighting for chairs. The low key Tiki Bar was also nice and the drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in our stay and was basic but good. The hotel itself is quite dated. Carpets are not very clean, I wouldn't walk in bare feet in our room, and the bathroom is old and tired.
