This is our second stay at a Kimpton property in Key West. Both Ridley House and Ellas Cottage were wonderful properties. Ridley House location is definitely where its at. The walk to Duvall St. is ideal. The concierge this time shared with us that we had access to all 5 Kimpton properties which was a pleasant surprise. We spent time at the Lighthouse property where they had live music and a bar which we really enjoyed. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I just spend 8 days at the Kimpton Inn We could not have pick a better place The room was so beautiful Pool was just what you needed after a stroll down Duvall Street Very relaxing , refreshing and really clean The employees were very friendly , courteous and very helpful They even offered continental breakfast in the morning We loved everything about it We will definitely be back

Our first time to stay here we’ve been to other Key west places this was by far our favorite, Clean quiet great breakfast pool was awesome ,close to everything , we are booking our next trip soon Thanks Craig and Sky!!

I am so glad I chose this hotel for my stay. As usual, I saw some of the negative reviews but what a nice place. Ashwin helped me get logged on, but he did inform me that because I booked my stay with *******, I was excluded from an IHG plus of a late check out, even though I'm an IHG member, so that was disappointing. My flight left at 6pm and the Key West airport doesn't really offer too much! So that was probably my only negative. Craig is great, helped get a bathrobe to my room. The room was clean and so quiet, I didn't even hear the morning roosters like I did last year staying just down the block. The pool, ahhhh. And I was always there at the right time, 2-3pm, had it to myself most days, and so refreshing. Plus a nice big iguana on the fence! We don't have those in WI just walking around! Great location, walkable to either Duval area or the marina, so lots of restaurant choices. I would stay here again, just maybe book through IHG.

Mycket mysigt hotell med en pool på innegården. Trevlig och mycket hjälpsam personal, hjälpte min svärmor med väskan uppför trapporna. Enkel men bra frukost.

One week in paradise should some up our stay at Kimpton Riley house. Everything is well within walking distance to whatever you want and the nicest dog friendly placer ever spent a week in . Most definitely would stay there again !

Absolutely amazing experience! The room was perfect, everyone was super friendly and helpful, everything was perfectly clean, the pool was great, breakfast was the perfect size and great start to our morning. I would absolutely recommend staying here and plan to come back in the future.

The room had an odd smell -- mildew/mold -- from the first day we were there and it was quite unbearable. (Our clothes, which we hung in the room, even the unused ones, all had to be drycleaned when we left because they all stank of mildew.) The room faced the street and was incredibly noisy -- both from street noise but also because the people in the room next door insisted on sitting outside on the porch until late at night, talking and laughing loudly. Perhaps some sound-proofing of the windows would help.

Kimpton Ridley is an older home, so you need to be prepared to hear every noise within the main house (rooms 1-9). We were awoken often by loud neighbors coming in at 1:00 am on Thursday night and then again at 6:30 am by people going to the kitchen for the start of their shift every morning. This was by far the worst part of our vacation. I actually sleep with ear plugs, and they did not deaden the noise. The property is also in a loud corner, so be prepared to hear traffic at night. Besides this, the property was very nice. The room was well appointed with a make up area, refrigerator, large TV(not a smart TV but good to watch the news) and marble bathroom. There seemed to be a towel shortage the whole time we were there. We would get two towels, no face clothes, no shower rug, no hand towels though we did ask for them twice. We would go get a pool towel for back up. The staff were nice, Craig being the highlight for us. He welcomed us, spoke to us while we sat at the pool, and offered things to do locally. They had afternoon drinks available with a local flavored beer, which we took advantage of twice. When we checked in, I will say the front office was not easily located, in a renovated garage. No sign on the street side of the garage, and the KR sign was 20 feet away in front of the main house. There is a nice pool, but only four lounges. We didn’t have a problem getting two on the day we decided to stay, though. Location was ideal, close to everything.

At 12:45 am on 10/31, I was awaken by screaming, yelling, suitcases being drug around and what sounded like furniture being knocked over. This went on for the rest of the night. Apparently the police showed up around 1:30 am, but the occupants next door all of a sudden got quiet and didn't open the door. The "police" left after about 10 minutes - I'm not really sure if they were the police or who they were. It all started up again around 3 am with doors being slammed and yelling from multiple people. I finally fell asleep and at 7 am I woke up and could still hear people talking very loud and arguing. I packed my bags and hung out at the airport for the rest of the morning until my flight departed. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel in my life. The worst thing was, when I went to checkout and asked for a refund, I was told they couldn't because the room was booked through *******. I had to chat with ******* (couldn't find a phone number) the next day, 11/1 and was told they would look into it and get back to me within 72 hours. I just received an email this morning (11/13) and was told that "the hotel has advised they will only honor the original cancellation policy and have declined your refund request". This doesn't have anything to do with canceling the reservation, just what happened during the stay. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this property when staying in Key West.

Super quant and comfortable. Beautiful property. Breakfast had variety and was fresh. Staff were all very considerate and attentive.

The staff was great, the hotel was clean and the area is very safe

The property and rooms were very nice and well kept, and the kitchen was great for breakfast in the mornings. Easy walking distance of lots of activities in the downtown area, we parked our car for the entire stay and walked almost everywhere. The surrounding area is a little noisy at times with both people and wildlife, but otherwise we had a wonderful experience!
