The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the room was dirty and the courtyard was even dirtier. To make matters worse, on a Monday morning, the (emergency) exits were locked and the staff was nowhere to be found. We talked to them on the phone and they didn't even know who was in charge. They did not call us to update us; we had to call them again. After a while, when an employee finally appeared, she wasn't able to open any door either, at first. She told us to go to one of their other hotels, in the same city, to have our breakfast there. Afterwards, again, there was no staff, except for the cleaning lady, who was waiting outside, in the street, for someone to open the door for her. In the end, did they offer us a voucher or a partial refund? No. Did we receive a written apology? No. They weren't even willing to provide an invoice, claiming that the booking confirmation is the invoice.
