The staff was very helpful, assisted with travel arrangements to Musanze. The rooftop restaurant was great...had live music on Friday night.

I liked the way they welcome guests. The building/ rooms are good and clean. But I was shocked when blocked my wife telling her to pay $25.00 shuttle fees. Taking her bags was retained of Transportation provided. This was bad experience ever. Why they don't list that to be the one of the service they charge so guest sees during booking process? I don't think I can recomend any one to use due to the poor customer care I experienced.

Ubumwe is a central hotel in Kigali with all facilities. It was easy to communicate with them in advance about late arrival/check-in and pick-up from airport. My room was spacious with a nice view of the city. Breakfast on the top floor of the building is amazing, as you can see the sunrise while eating. Breakfast had a big selection of cold and hot food. Reception is always helpful. A young man there even helped me post my postcards from post office as the post office was closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Perfect and honest service that I appreciated a lot!

Second time I'm staying in your hotel and I like the friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed my time with you

I have stayed at Ubumwe severally but this particular time was a major dissapointment.The staff were rude,the foood was terrible and overall the service was below average. The room i was checked in was too noisy and even when i moved the other room was too small stuffy and overall not so clean.I was in room 509 and i did not enjoy my stay.

The pool was great, service and staff were friendly and efficient.

If you’re looking for a clean convenient place to stay, this is it! The restaurant staff could do with more training in being adaptable to clients requests but that may be a hotel restaurant policy. Otherwise a great stay

Great location. AC not adequate in room although lobby was OK. Food average, VIP benefit was free airport shuttle on request. Apparently 'on request' doesn't mean ask reception to book you a free shuttle, you have to request via email. I booked this place largely because of the roof terrace - it's a large, enclosed, uninviting airport hangar of a space & very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend this place, there are many better options.
