This is an older style motel located on a busy highway, but thankfully the noise quietens down overnight. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the manager was friendly and helpful. But overall some major upgrades are required. For example, the couch was incredibly uncomfortable (felt like sitting on the floor as the springs were old) and the carpet was worn, so it was like walking on concrete. I was also concerned about the relative lack of security with a back door to the room easily accessed from the street. Overall this seems to be a motel for workers or people passing through.

A real gem of a motel. The rooms were clean and had a great historical country theme to them but didn’t look dated. Was in the best location possible in town. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We even had our room upgraded without asking! The price was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Kilcoy.

I have stayed at this property several times. The rooms are always clean and well kept. I stayed here recently travelling for business and rented two rooms. Kilcoy is not a huge city, but the motel is close to everything you would need. I'll stay here again in the future.
