If you are considering staying here you should note that the hotel has function rooms both up and down stairs. This stay was spolit by drunken louts shouting and singing until the early hours the first night the the second by hotel maids up and down the corridor (very creaky floors) and slamming doors until 4am

Lovely hotel with good facilties. Room was spacious and comfortable, however the noise from the corridor and other rooms from 0800 on the Sunday morning was disappointing. Very loud guests walking along the corridors, banging doors, talking loudly from early in the morning was a real disturbance and disappoin**ent.

I booked a night there for my Husband's birthday. We absolutely love the hotel, we go there quite often for dinner, sometimes just a coffee and a snack. It just has such a lovely a**osphere and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The food was delicious and the room was so comfortable. Highly recommend.

An incredibly reasonable hotel and the level of comfort, service and food quality was worthy of a hotel double the price! Lovely public areas, huge room, one of the best showers I’ve had in a hotel.

Stayed overnight following a golden wedding celebration which was excellent. The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing service slow and food lukewarm. I asked for more tea and they topped up the pot with boiling water but no tea bag, my friend had poached eggs which were hard. A disappointing end to an otherwise lovely stay.

Working atvAyr University Hospital, this was a little drive away but proved to be quite a little gem. The Hotel has a link with the Galleon Leisure Centre so a swimming pool Gym and sauna is available( take yiur towls) and lots of eating places close by too. We were on the ground floor facing the sports ground. The room was quite, even with a wedding receptoon on and inportantly spotlessly clean. Quite a little find that well use again.
