金斯巴恩斯旅館

Nous avons réservé une chambre familiale qui était composé de 2 grands lits doubles. Chambre très propre, confort ok excepté le WIFI difficile d'accès et la connexion internet surement faible en ce lieu reculé. Absence de bruit, ambiance très calme, donc de ce côté un très grande satisfaction. Concernant la restauration, notre avis est plus que nuancé. Voir avis négatif ci après de quelques anglais. Le service au diner a été expéditif, la nourriture est basique et donc chère pour ce que c'est. Les desserts décongelés... Le petit déjeuner était annoncé à partir de 7h30. Nous sommes arrivés à 8h00 , 8h40 nos plats préparés arrivés. Au regard des autres étapes faites en Ecosse, le niveau doit s'améliorer très fortement.

Our first time at the The Inn, Kingsbarns for a meal, while on holiday, We were met by really friendly staff and sat in the Snug room. My wife and I both ordered the Spinach, Broccoli and Stilton soup. Well it was so delicious and piping hot, it was accompanied by small toast pieces. If the main courses were as good as the starters we were in for a treat. And they were. My wife ordered the Salmon, on a bed of potatoes, green beans and tender stem, in an oyster sauce. I had the breaded haddock, chunky chips and salad. The haddock was the best I’ve ever tasted. My wife said the same about her meal too. We could use ‘wow’ a few times here, ha! ha! 10/10 for the new chef and 10/10 for the friendly staff. Thank you all so much. So obviously well recommended!
