白馬村禪木屋私人度假屋(Zen Chalets Hakuba)

We stayed in the Buddha Chalet in April 2023. Sarah and Mick were wonderful friendly hosts with heaps of skiing, eating, and apres ski tips, especially little out of the way joints that only locals would know - after a couple of decades they have Hakuba dialled. The 'chalet' was really a spacious 2 bedroom home with all the mod cons, super comfy beds, a big entertaining table, big couch, laundry facilities, big drying room. Location is wonderful, right beside a stream, a quiet area, but only 200 m from Happo Gondola, and easy walking to all the shops, bars, and restaurants of old Hakuba. Highly recommended.

Fab accommodation for different sized families in our group, spacious, well equipped, comfy beds, super clean and very helpful and friendly staff. Shampoo and conditioner were amazing! Good location with staff lift to ski hire and supermarket. Short walk to local bars, restaurants and ski lift.

If there had been snow, the location would have been excellent. The lodging was cozy, spacious, and relaxing. We ended up spending a lot of time inside, since it was rainy, and we didn't get to ski as much as originally hoped. Unfortunately, Hakuba experienced early warm and rainy Spring weather, which derailed our skiing plans. We skied for one day in wet conditions at Happo One and, rather than ski another day, decided to go on a Snow Monkey tour, which was excellent.

We've just had the most wonderful ski experience in Hakuba and our accommodation at Zen Chalets made it all the more special. Sarah, Mick and the team are outstanding hosts. Informative, helpful and friendly. The chalets are well equipped, warm and well designed. They are just a short and easy walk to the gondola and nice and close to many of Hakuba's excellent restaurants. And the most comfiest beds and pillows! We can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Zen Chalet in late January 2023. We were picked up at the train station by the Zen team and able to check in early to our beautiful villa. The courtesy supermarket shuttle on day 1 allowed us to stock up on some breakfast basics and it was really convenient being able to WhatsApp the Zen team when needed. The visitors guide app provided great advice on local restaurants, transport etc. The location of Zen is perfect - less than 5 mins to walk two kids along a cute forest path to the gondola. We will definitely stay with Zen again when we next visit Hakuba Valley.

We stayed in the Mitsu Chalet and it was perfect for our family getaway. The staff picked us up from the train station when we arrived and gave us a tour through Harpo-One on the way to the Chalet. They also did a complimentary trip to the grocery store on our first night so we could stock up for our stay. My husband got sick while we were away and the staff provided a care package of cold and flu medicine which was amazing. The chalet was amazing and the staff were even better. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous little chalet that felt quite spacious inside. Perfect for a family. Warm and cosy. All necessary amenities including lots of hot water. Easy access to the main lifts. 5 minute walk to all the restaurants. Mick and Sarah and staff were super helpful. 10 minute walk to the onsen. Highly recommend. Would definitely book again.
