"At first sight the hotel appears to be reasonable but the indoor bar was not in use. The outside bar is in a pleasant setting but air pollution spoils the experience. The staff are friendly and efficient but the room design and electrics are poor and actually dangerous. The sockets are not in the correct locations, cables are either too short as on my kettle or joined by illegal means. My bedside lamp was even worse, it was fed directly off the back of a socket offering no protection and I actually received an electric shock. When I called the duty manager to show him the cable caught fire! On the third night no-one could get the aircon to operate. Food was average and there is no filter coffee available. My advice if you want to stay in Kitwe is find a guest house."

"A nice lodge with a very good atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. Good food and a small pool with refreshingly cool water. Nice spacious room with a comfortable bed and a clean and tidy bathroom. There is also a nice porch providing ample space to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful garden. I particularly liked being gently woken up in the morning by the “early”birds and their beautiful song."
