Das Mvuvi Boutique Hotel ist mit Abstand das Beste Hotel was wir jemals gebucht haben. Es stimmte alles. Hervorragendes, immer freundliches Team das einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt, eine wunderbare Küche wo jedes Gericht frisch, ausreichend und geschmackvoll ist. Das Zimmer war ein Traum und der Privatstrand hervorragend. Wir haben uns jederzeit rundum wohl gefühlt und würden das Mvuvi jedem empfehlen der ein kleinen, ruhiges und familiäres Hotel sucht. weil es 2023 soooo schön war, haben wir es 2024 noch einmal gebucht. Zimmer und Service super, es wurde einem jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen,manchmal bevor man wußte das man ihn haben würde.Tipp Topp Sauberkeit überall.Mega Speisen und eine unfassbare Personalaufmerksamkeit. Einfach ein Träumchen- Urlaub pur :-) Ein Dank an alle Mitarbeiter - ihr seid die Besten! .

Ottima posizione fronte spiaggia. Numero limitato di stanze. Personale estremamente gentile e competente. Cucina di ottima qualità e piatti molto ben presentati. Frutta di vario tipo, di bontà incredibile almeno per noi europei. Eccellente gestione dei tour nei vari siti di interesse di Zanzibar.

Siamo andati a Zanzibar per la prima volta in occasione del ventesimo anniversario di matrimonio.... avremmo voluto andarci entrambi nel lontano 2001 ed entrambi non trovammo un last minute su Zanzibar ma fu che, ciascuno per i fatti suoi, trovammo posto al Blue Bay Village di Watamu, Kenya, non ci conoscevamo ma poi rientrati nelle nostre rispettive città, ci fidanzammo e due anni più tardi ci sposammo... ebbene passati un po' di anni alla fine a Zanzibar ci siamo andati, ma con la prole :-) Dopo questa premessa romantica, le aspettative su Zanzibar e su questo micro resort in particolare erano molto alte, viste le recensioni. Era nostro desiderio evitare come la peste i mega villaggi le code le resse i self service a colazione pranzo cena l'animazione i charter il chiasso i megafoni sulla spiaggia ecc. ecc. ... insomma la nostra vacanza voleva essere tutto il contrario di quanto propongono i tour operator del turismo di massa, sia pure in una location non certo a due passi da casa. Ebbene... Zanzibar è davvero bellissima e tra le super escursioni che consigliamo ci sono, nell'ordine, 1) Nakupenda ovvero l'isola che non c'è (abbinata a Prison Island), 2) la visita Stone Town (abbinata alle fattorie delle spezie) e, 3) il tramonto a Nungwi (abbinato alle tartarughe marine). Parlando di mare, l'importante è saper bene prima di partire dove soggiornare e cosa ci si aspetta.... il dilemma più comune di solito è: spiaggia a Nord (Nungwi) o a Est (Kiwengwa)? La prima è la classica spiaggia infinita, bellissima ma per così dire "comune", non c'è la barriera corallina ed è molto affollata di villaggi, turisti e beach boys. La seconda è l'opposto: ci sono le maree e questo limita un minimo la balneabilità a seconda degli orari ma i panorami sono mozzafiato e il mare cambia di ora in ora regalando colori incredibili e spettacolari sia con l'alta che con la bassa marea... a nostro avviso, non c'è paragone. Venendo al resort, che oltretutto si trova nella zona di Kiwengwa migliore in assoluto, siamo a livelli davvero molto elevati ma senza comportare un salasso finanziario come in certe isole caraibiche o alle Seychelles. Il che è tutto dire. Con sole otto camere, belle spaziose e con un super bagno, è il posto ideale per rilassarsi ed essere riempiti di attenzioni senza però mai essere invadenti, infatti il personale è molto discreto e il servizio è impeccabile. Noi abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione e sia le colazioni che le cene erano superlative. Tutto viene preparato in casa, comprese le chips di patate banana tapioca eccetera che accompagnano i frullati tropicali e gli aperitivi. Il pesce è semplicemente strepitoso e le linguine fatte in casa con il crab, tuna, lobster ecc... ce le sogneremo per un bel po'! Insomma, mettete in conto, pur essendo lontani anni luce dai buffet dei villaggi, di mettere su qualche kilo... sarà inevitabile. Tra l'altro molti clienti del ristorante venivano da fuori, chissà come mai. La spiaggia è veramente esclusi

Hotel muito tranquilo com staff sempre disponível a proporcionar-nos todas as comodidades. Adorámos e sentimo-nos em casa! A comida é boa, a cama mto confortável, quarto sem luxos mas com tudo o que é necessário . A praia é muito tranquila e o povo de Zanzibar é amoroso. A Grace que é a responsável, sempre atenta a tudo. Agradecemos muito a atenção !

Molto contento della scelta, personale sempre attento e disponibile, camere graziose e funzionali, cucina eccellente, servizi in spiaggia molto buoni, lo consiglio certamente a chi, come noi, non cerca la megastruttura con animazione e confusione, ma un posto tranquillo e di qualità.

We had such a fantastic one-week stay at Mvuvi Boutique Hotel. Everything was beyond our expectations! The location is perfect, as it is directly on the beach, but the hotel has a small swimming pool with relaxing swing beds and incredible views. The food is tasty, and the vibes are good! I cannot highlight enough the excellent service and staff. We can't wait to come back again very soon! You made our holiday perfect. Asante sana!

Dieses kleine Hotel ist ein Juwel ,der Service,das Essen,die Zimmer...nicht zu toppen.Essen ist exquisit und als Halfboard ein 3 Gänge Menü a la card...unfassbar.Infusion auf eine tolle Art und Weise.Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.So klein,so fein...:-) we love it! .

Petit hôtel plein de charme, le personnel est très attentionné et la nourriture est tout simplement délicieuse (à ne pas manquer le cheescake à la passion!). Incroyable petit déjeuner quasiment les pieds dans l'eau. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, l'hôtel est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Pour les sportifs, à noter le centre de sport aquatique Duotone pro center associé à l'hôtel qui apporte un complément parfait au séjour. Kitesurf dans des eaux turquoises, cours de wingfoil, toute la famille a pu profiter en totale sécurité avec un encadrement plus que parfait! Possibilité également d'organiser un grande nombre d'excursions sur place pour agrémenter son séjour. Bref, un petit paradis pour toute la famille que nous espérons revisiter un jour! This small boutique resort is arguably the shiniest gem in the very best section of the prettiest beach in Zanzibar, Kiwengwa. Forget the loud and crowded all-inclusive hotels nearby. You won’t be asked queuing for food, drinks, beach towels, and everything you will literally have to deal with. Rooms are super nicely decorated, great balcony, lovely trees and flowers around, kute bush-babies looking for fruit during night hours (and we absolutely loved feeding them), service is pure tailor made. We opted for half board arrangement which was 100% spot on since breakfast were just delicious yet abundant. Fruit drinks were a day dream and dinners were to die for…. everything is home made, even French fries from various vegetables or fruits, there is an International menu (with kind of Italian flavor) to choose from with daily specials on top, accompanied by excellent local beer or fantastic wines from Cape Town region. We mostly stick with fish and quality was nothing else but at least 1 Michelin star restaurant, which is something to thing about being so far from Southern Europe. Twice a week or so there is live music with dinners served on the sand but you can always book for such a romantic setting on demand. Resort is discretely managed by an Italian lady, Carolina, supported by Grace and Neema who made our journey simply unforgettable. A special mention to Zawadi who was so nice serving us at the restaurant… we are missing her “Karibu” already! Bottom line, should we have chance to fly again to Zanzibar in the future, we wouldn’t even have to think about where to stay. Perfect for couples and families, Mvuvi has definitely been one of the top top top journeys in our life ever.

Piccolo hotel accogliente e curato nei minimi dettagli. La stanza era spaziosa e comoda. Ambienti esterni suggestivi e ben integrati con il contesto e il paesaggio. Piccola spiaggia privata dotata di ogni comfort. Abbiamo preso il pacchetto di mezza pensione e il cibo era molto buono e vario grazie ai menù special di ogni giorno. Il personale cura il cliente con tante attenzioni e il servizio escursioni è ben organizzato, affidabile e offre un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Dal vivo è ancora meglio che in foto! 😊 super consigliato

We (2 adults and 2 chuldren) spent 10 days in Zanzibar, Kiwengwa in August. We decided to book at Mvuvi resort because we wanted to avoid the very large hotel and Mvuvi, with its 9 rooms, looked to be the best solution. Mvuvi (fisherman in swahili) is managed by an Italian woman, Carolina, and his partner Andrej. The resort is a real Boutique hotel, very well-finished both in the rooms and in the common space. Everything is extremely comfortable: very quite position on the beach, close to Pontile, and also close to a very good kitesurf school. Food was very good, with the possibility to choose between upstair restaurant (with an amazing view) or beach terrace (same menu, only different location). Moreover, we could also choose to have lunch in the Lounge restaurant, close to the kite school. We booked 3 tours with the hotel, everything was really well arranged. Everyone in Mvuvi was really kind and our vacation was great also thanks to the amazing people working in the hotel. Carolina and Grace are the first ones deserving a mention, but we are thankful to all the staff. Kwa heri Mvuvi.

A gem of a hotel and a real find on this busy beach. It's a small hotel with only 8 rooms and we were lucky to stay in one of the rooms looking onto the beach.The room itself does not have any windows with a view but the bed was super comfortable comfortable and the room had a very nice bathroom. We were so happy to choose Mvuvi and stayed there for 3 nights. Grace and her team were so welcoming and helpful and they really made our stay. The food was brilliant ( we stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast basis) - a great menu and really delicious breakfast and dinner which could be taken in the lovely dining room upstairs or next to the beach. It was very quiet during our stay with only a few other visitors , which was a shame, as we felt we had made such a good choice , especially when we saw some of the larger resorts on this stretch of coastline.Highly recommended.
