Lodge situato a 10 minuti dal centro di knysna, quindi la macchina è necessaria. Ma quando si arriva si rimane veramente a bocca aperta! La nostra camera era la elephant. La colazione viene preparata al momento e servita nel salotto della casa. Da non perdere la vista anche sulla laguna.

Das Guesthouse hat uns vom ersten Augenblick an regelrecht umgeworfen. Deborah und Chrystal haben uns rund um die Uhr hervorragend betreut und die Aussicht ist phänomenal. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und die Betten sehr bequem. Es fehlte an nichts. Auch die Auswahl zum Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der kleine Pool rundete das tolle Angebot ab. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!

Le panorama sur la passe de Knysna est exceptionnel près de ce B&B , c'est ce qui nous a amené à faire le choix de Headland House via Booking. Par contre malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu la vue sur la passe mais sur la rivière , c'est ce qui nous a déçu. Booking ne donne pas suffisamment d'information à ce sujet. Nous avons eu une grande chambre très cosy et un grand lit confortable. L'hôtesse est accueillante et nous a aidé pour trouver un restaurant . Le petit déjeuner est bon et est servi dans une salle à manger avec une belle vue

La ubicación es un espectáculo, la atención y el servicio de 10, volcados con nosotros en todo momento, ayudándonos en lo que necesitábamos, aconsejándonos lugares para visitar, viaje en barco por la bahía, puesta de sol, etc. un lujo de sitio y sobre todo Debbie y su staff, prometimos volver y volveremos.

Wir haben auf dem Weg von Kapstadt nach Port Elisabeth 4 Tage in Knysna verbracht, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Unsere Homebase war das Headlands House zuoberst auf den östlichen Knysna Heads. Die Anfahrt aus dem Städtchen dauert 15', die letzten paar 100 Meter sind spektakulär steil und kurvig - jeder Meter wert! Das Haus steht direkt am Abhang zu den Klippen und von Balkon oder grossen Fenster sieht man die Brandung, den aufziehenden Nebel, spürt den Wind. Unbedingt Meerseite buchen (und zahlen). Die völlige Ruhe wird nur durch das Meer und Vögel "gestört". Der Empfang durch die Gastgeberinnen Crystal und Debbie ist so herzlich als würde man bei Freunden ankommen :-) sehr gute Dokumentation, Tipps zu Restaurants und Ausflügen inbegriffen. Ein modernes Haus mit sehr hellen Zimmern, geschmackvoll und gut eingerichtet und mit sehr guten Betten. Das Frühstück wird nicht als Buffet angeboten sondern vorgeschlagen und serviert - super lecker. Ein paar Tsge hier lohnen sich, im Umkreis von 70km hat es Ziele für ganze Ferien......

We had a vey disappointing experience here. Based on the reviews and the price we had to pay we expected quality and comfort. None of that. Price/quality ratio is bad. Everything there is average, there is nothing special I can think of except for the view but most lodges there have that.

Accueil plus que chaleureux avec une gentillesse naturelle. La maîtresse de maison s’est occupée de nous organiser la visite des différents lieux à voir. La maison est décorée avec goût. La chambre, avec une vue époustouflante!!! Et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner est trop trop bon, tout est fait maison! Tout y est parfait!!!!!

Die Lage ist außerordentlich und bietet einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Wie auf Bestellung auch direkt bei der Ankunft mit Walen und Delfinen in Nähe der Brandung. Die Gastgeberin Debbie kümmert sich sehr persönlich und toll um das Wohl der Gäste und gibt gute Tipps und Hinweise.

The Location of the Headlands Guesthouse and especially the view from the Coney Glen Room over the bay and sea as well into the laguna are breathtaking. But also the sundowner on the pool deck or the view from the breakfast room are outstanding. The service was super friendly and the breakfast was very delicious. For sure the fitout of the rooms could be a bit more modern but the style has its own individual charm. A small house bar provided everything you needed for drinks and small snacks.

Gorgeous stay with stunning views. A breakfast that will last you all day and the truly delightful Chrystal and Debbie looking after you. We were glad to have stayed a little further out from Knysna to enjoy the views. Highly recommended.

Debby and her team were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay a wonderful experience. We did not want to leave.

We had such a wonderful stay at Headlands House recently now in July. We were so warmly welcomed by our lovely hostess Crystal upon arrival who gave us a tour of the house and some recommendations of places to go eat and explore. Very much appreciated as this was our first time in Knysna. We have a 3 month old baby, so stayed in the Fynbos room which had ample space for a camp cot and us to stay comfortably in the room. There is a camp cot on request for a small additional fee for which was perfect for us as we didn’t need to travel with our own one. The views are truly stunning from that room and it was so nice being able to see the heads so clearly. The weather was a little wet when we were there, so we spent some time cozied up in our room watching the sea which was nice and relaxing. The rooms have heaters in them, and additional blankets and hot water bottles are provided too so we were comfortable and warm. I would also highly recommend the delicious homemade crunchies that are in the room for you upon arrival - absolutely delicious! Breakfast each morning was a delicious home cooked meal (we had the jungle oats and English breakfast on day one, and the jungle oats and French toast on day two) which just started our day off so well. Debbie was also so kind as to hold onto our little one for a few moments so we could have a bite to eat, really appreciated that personal touch. The guesthouse has parking outside the house so no need to park and walk far, and is very safe. All in all, would highly recommend staying here, the team are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is perfect.

Stunning accommodation in the most beautiful place. Debbie and the team are exceptional hosts and the views and breakfast are absolutely amazing. Debbie is a knowledgeable host and does everything to ensure you have a wonderful time, going above and beyond. We had a mix up with our booking(due to our agent!) And Debbie upgraded us on our final night to a suite to compensate. Cannot fault the service, food, views, everything.... just go.

Excellent. Fantastic views, warm welcome, very accommodating. Friendly and obliging staff. Highly recommended. Would return in the future. Nothing more to say. I’m now padding this out as I have to write 200 characters minimum. Excellent again
