克尼斯納羅格酒店(Knysna Log-Inn Hotel)

El hotel es bueno, pero tienen problemas organizativos... cuando llegamos, quisieron mandarnos en frente, a otro hotel similar pero de tres estrellas. No quedó claro si fue una avivada o no, pero después de quejarnos, nos pasaron al hotel que correspondía. Insisto en que no es un mal hotel, quizá necesitaría una actualización.

Hôtel rustique type chalet canadien en pleine rénovation actuellement. Nuitées et petits déjeuners classiques. Notre chambre était bien agencée avec un espace salle de bain privatif, idéal pour trois personnes. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Fruits frais, différents jus, viennoiserie, crêpes entre autre. Pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre 😩. Le personnel est efficace et discret. L’hôtel situé en plein centre ville permet d’être au centre de tout, sans besoin nécessairement de véhicule. Port de plaisance, galerie marchande et restaurants. Le bémol, si vous recherchez le calme « is not a place to be ». Notre chambre située côté rue est bruyante très tôt le matin. On ne peut pas tout avoir.

The hotel has a good location but unfortunately, the room and all in all do not deserve to get 4 stars. I found a bar fridge is essential and even a 3 stars hotel can have that. the swimming pool is tiny but also not well maintained as there is rust. However, the staff is welcoming and friendly.

Characteristics and a bit outdated hotel. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and my friend fell over getting in the shower as the bath was very slippery. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to people with mobility issues. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices and the staff was friendly.

Dieses Hotel bietet sich an, wenn man eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für eine Nacht sucht. Länger würde ich dieses Hotel jedoch niemandem empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, komplett aus der Mode und überhaupt nicht zeitgemäß. Das Bad wirkt etwas schmuddelig, ist aber insgesamt recht sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und es wird auch ein Wäscheservice zu einem vernünftigen und absolut akzeptablen Preis angeboten. Das Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen, hier würde ich mir im Ort eine Alternative für kleines Geld suchen. Hier wird man schnell fündig. Der Frühstückssaal an sich ist unansprechend eingerichtet, es kommt das Gefühl von einem Altenheim Besuch oder Bingo Nachmittag bei einem hoch. Die Hotelbar ist so schlecht sortiert wie ich es noch nie gesehen habe. Es ist nicht mal eine Zapfanlage vorhanden und die Auswahl an Spirituosen beschränkt sich auf ein Minimum, das nicht unbedingt ansprechend ist, weshalb sich in der Bar auch nie Menschen aufhalten. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung, länger auf keinen Fall!

Wir waren hier für zwei Nächte im Rahmen unserer Rundreise durch Südafrika. Das Zimmer mit großem Balkon war veraltet, abgewohnt und in die Jahre gekommen. Großes Plus: Die Reservedecken im Kasten waren eingeschweißt. Das W-Lan hat in unserem Zimmer (Nummer 113) überhaupt nicht funktioniert, erst wieder, wenn man zur Lobby kommt. Das Frühstück in Buffetform, fand ich sehr ausreichend und gut, alles vorhanden. Das Hotel ist ca 5 Gehminuten von der Waterfront entfernt, wo sich zahlreiche Geschäfte und Lokalitäten befinden. Auch in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels gibt es einige Restaurants.

The construction of the hotel aptly lived up to its name ! The room was spacious and well appointed, complete with balcony; the buffet breakfast was extensive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. And all within close walking distance of Knysna's waterfront !!

We stayed 3 nights at Knysna Log Inn when touring the Garden Route. We were nervous at first, as some of the recent reviews weren't great, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Staff was very helpful and we stayed in a Family Room and had more than enough room. The location was great, as it was within walking distance of the waterfront and easy to get to good restaurants. Breakfast was really good as well. It was too cold for the pool but we did use the hot tub one night. It was really hot but I think it was because the cover was on it before we got in, so it had kept more of the heat in.
