卡諾坎普之家酒店(Kanonkop House)

Selten so ein tolles Guesthouse gehabt Traumhafte Unterkunft mit schönem Zimmer. Wir hatten den Forrestraum (liebevolle Einrichtung, tolle Terrasse mit traumhaften Blick) Auch das Zimmer unserer Freunde und der Kinder war schön. Super Poolbereich und toller Außenbereich zum Frühstücken Super netter Service. Alle Wünsche wurden von den Augen abgelesen und auch die Sonderwünsche unserer Tochter entspannt erfüllt ;-) 100%-Empfehlung!

Schönes, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Guesthouse mit sehr netten Gastgeber Ehepaar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Kanonkoophouse in Knysna gerne weiter. Tip: Sundowner Trip auf dem Katamaran war ein tolles Erlebnis

Struttura davvero stupenda! Camera enorme con una vista sulla baia incredibile! Camera munita anche di giardino privato e con bosco abitato dalle scimmie davanti alla sala! Colazione ottima ed abbondante, il free bar 24/24 e la sala lettura sono una ulteriore coccola per l’ospite. Dimenticavo la piscina riscaldata. Il personale gentile e cortese, per non parlare della host che ci ha aiutato ad organizzare al meglio la nostra permanenza. SUPER!!

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at Kanonkop. Mark & Adele were perfect hosts, attentive, friendly and fun. They also organised a Braai one evening during our stay, which was excellent. The room was fabulous with stunning views over the lagoon and down to the ocean. We loved the "help yourself bar", although the staff were always around to help :) They had thoughtfully made a reservation at a local restaurant for us on our first night so we were covered. We will definitely return!

We stayed for a midweek break while driving the Garden Route, what a wonderful time we had Kanonkop Lodge. The friendly & helpful staff are always willing and happy to assist with all your requests, breakfast was scrumptious and Mark, Adel and their staff are an amazing team. The views of the Knysna lagoon go on forever and are amazing, pour yourself a cold one and sit and enjoy the view as the world goes by . Highly recommended

We spent a great 5 night stay at Kanonkop House. Mark and Adele are great hosts. They serve a wonderful breakfast outside by the pool. Spotlessly clean and great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were regularly replenished Would highly recommend for a stay in Knysna

We stayed at the Kanonkop Guest House recently for a 5 day stay. The location of the property is about 1.5km outside the waterfront and Thesen Island but the setting is really fabulous looking out over Knysna Lagoon towards the Heads. Taxi service is easy so if you don’t have a car then the location is still good. The staff are excellent and really nice people. Although this property was refurbished in 2017 it has been done with old furniture which looks pretty dated and not everyone’s taste. The bathrooms are old fashioned and could really do with an upgrade. Price wise, it’s not that much cheaper to stay here than some of the high end resorts like Fancourt yet the two are incomparable in all other ways. All of this is subject so I wouldn’t want to be too critical but if you charge higher prices you have to compete in all areas with better resorts.

What an absolute gem of a place. Fabulously located at the top of a hill, quite hidden away with breathtaking views over the lagoon (we were lucky enough to have one of their best suites) You’d go a long way to better the view here. The theme here is ‘treat the place as your home’ which is actively encouraged by the very lovely owner, Mark. Sadly his wife Adele was not there for us to meet on this occasion. Mark is extremely welcoming, warm and friendly with a wealth of knowledge of the area and the sort of guy you’d definitely want to meet again if you’re lucky enough. Breakfast is served outside on the terrace adjacent the pool and every attention to detail has been well thought out by what they serve you. A lovely bar area is available for you to help yourself to and it’s wonderful to be offered glasses of wine whilst relaxing by the beautiful pool on a lovely warm afternoon. Couldn’t recommend this top quality boutique hotel highly enough and we have every intention of visiting again in the not too distant future. Thanks Mark for your wonderful hosting.

A second truly wonderful stay at Kanonkop Guest House with the perfect hosts Mark and Adele. Nothing but praise for this lovely home from home, where nothing is too much trouble and everyone goes out of their way to make you happy. The rooms designed by Adele have such attention to detail, everything you need has been thought of in advance. Fantastic breakfast and very comfortable beds etc, plus lts of help and advice about the local area. We shall be back again for certain.
