Overall, I loved my stay at this hostel. Love the curtains for personal space haha! You can be super social, but if you feel like staying alone you can hide in your bed

Se potessi darei anche un punteggio più alto. Ottime le stanze deluxe con letti doppi, morbidi. Il bagno è solo ok invece, pulito ma vecchio stile. Bellissima la piscina, immersa nel verde. Al ristorante si mangia davvero bene e prezzi nella media. C’è la palestra (all’aperto, ma all’ombra). Personale gentilissimo! Il primo giorno non funzionava l’aria condizionata e ci hanno sostituito lo split entro sera, fantastici! L’atmosfera è stupenda, molti viaggiatori (gruppi, singoli, famiglie) e la sera ci siamo spesso ritrovati a parlare un po’ con tutti. Il resort non è sulla spiaggia, ma noi avevamo i motorini e non è stato un problema. Rapporto qualità/prezzo imbattibile. Consiglio

Such a beautiful place to stay with everything you could need available! Food is amazing but it’s the wonderful staff that really make this place! They are so easy going and always go the extra mile for their guests👌 would highly recommend! Such a lovely and friendly atmosphere … could stay forever ☺️ Thank you Sebastian and team! Stayed here for 6 nights during our island hopping honeymoon. I picked this place after watching some vlogs so was excited to go. Was nice to be with young people our age and had some lovely conversations. Atmosphere is really nice and so chill. Room was clean but did need some TLC but for a 2 star resort and the price, perfectly reasonable! The one big issue we had was a cockerel that woke us up a few times early in the morning. We get up early anyway and don’t drink much but I can imagine that would have been hell with a hangover! The gym was a great bonus. Again, a bit of TLC would do it wonders and I didn’t touch the mats as they definitely needed a wash! But it was nice to have a space to workout. We didn’t use the pool but always saw it being cleaned in the mornings. Only a few sun beds which I thought might be an issue but they were not used much at all. The food at this place really brings it up. It was AMAZING! We didn’t plan to eat there as much as we did but just loved it. The bar staff are polite and the lovely Olly was very helpful with the local area. The bar area was quieter than I expected in the evenings, I thought they would have things on but I think it’s the quiet season so not much on. We did play some games in the bar and chatted to some others there. Everyone was very polite. We both enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Great value for money and the food was the best we had.

We had an awesome 5 days at Shiralea. The a.c. bungalow are excellent value for money. The pool was popular with the kids and the gym was a welcomed bonus. We ate in the restaurant almost every day. Overall a great place to stay.

It was a nice Hostel. The staff was very nice, the pool was good and clean and they had a really good gym with everything you need to have a good workout. One of the trainers there even gave me Tipps for my workout. The hostel has its own restaurant which is really good an has a lot to offer :)) It’s a 3min walk away from a nice beach with a lot of nice bars, restaurants and hotels. You have good free Wi-Fi everywhere in the hostel. I was in a dorm. The AC worked pretty well. The room had a bit of a weird smell but you got used to it pretty fast. The bathrooms were ok. A bit dirty but warm water showers. So overall it was good for the price and if you are looking for a cheap hostel that is nice you should go here.

Great resort, I totally recommend it, specially if you’re travelling alone as it’s a great place to meet people. The resort is a few meter from the beach, motorbike rentals and a 7-11 not very far. In the resort itself you’ll find everything you need, nice restaurant (thai and western food), cafe, swimming pool, gym with daily classes or events such as movie or karaoke nights !

The Shiralea was a great choice of accommodation on Koh Phangan. While the rooms are simple, they have everything you need and are very clean. For the per night price, you really can’t ask for more. The aircon bungalows are the best choice of room selection, however, I believe they have dorm style rooms if you are more cost conscious. The people that stay and work here make it a great place to hang out. The management team and staff at Shiralea make everyone feel welcome and create an enjoyable atmosphere. The property is set up to promote a sense of community and you will see that throughout your stay - especially if you choose to spend time in the common areas (bar, restaurant, pool, gym) with other fellow travelers. The location is perfect (close to beach and the rest of the island hot spots). Motorbike rental is very close (walkable). The food at the Shiralea restaurant/bar was consistently excellent - every menu item is high quality, cooked to perfection, and very fairly priced.
