阿薩瓦潛水度假村的評價

我們住了海濱別墅和雙床園景，房子內部整體空間不大，有點小，設施比較簡陋。海濱別墅佈局不合理，但是度假村的海濱和整體環境很好，服務人員也非常友好，是濤島安靜的一個度假村，很適合躺平，下次來濤島還會考慮選擇這裏。設施特別齊全，有秋千，吊牀，孩子玩的開心，孩子和他們工作人員相處很愉快。

Though I know this is a dive resort, little did I know that the pool will be unavailable all day, every day due to scuba diving lessons.  Food was less than mediocre.  Lady at reception very unfriendly, though at least she got things done.  “Private beach” unavailable due to constant high tide, coupled with an unavailable swimming pool, we left 3 days early and forfeited the money rather than waste time here

Hicimos una excursión de buceo con Toni y no podemos estar más felices. Tenemos una pequeña de 1 año y medio y no sabíamos si íbamos a poder organizarnos, pero el equipo nos ayudó en todo momento y finalmente pudimos disfrutar de la experiencia. Como llevábamos mucho tiempo sin bucear, tomamos primero un refresh en el que ganamos confianza y seguridad. Después, las inmersiones fueron maravillosas. Toni es muy profesional, además de una persona encantadora. Queremos darle las gracias a ella y a todos el equipo de Assava Diving por ponernos las cosas tan fáciles. !Ha asido un placer!

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, meinen ersten Tauchgang im Assava Dive Resort auf Koh Tao zu machen, und ich kann nur sagen: es war eine fantastische Erfahrung! Die gesamte Crew ist unglaublich professionell und gleichzeitig sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom ersten Moment an fühlte ich mich bestens betreut – sowohl auf als auch unter Wasser. Mein Tauchlehrer Mr. Bubbles hat mit viel Geduld und Leidenschaft alles auf deutsch erklärt. Er ist auf meine individuellen Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Sicherheit stand immer an erster Stelle, was mir als Einsteiger ein großes Gefühl der Geborgenheit gegeben hat. Somit habe ich mich nach dem Discover Scuba Diving dazu entschieden, meinen Open Water Kurs zu absolvieren. Es hat so viel Spaß gemacht! Die Tauchgänge selbst waren absolut unvergesslich! Ich habe die Unterwasserwelt in vollen Zügen genossen und viele spannende Entdeckungen gemacht. Für alle, die eine sehr angenehme Tauchschule suchen, kann ich diese hier nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Just back from 3 days of diving in Koh Tao with my family (3 children age 10, 11 & 13) and couldn’t recommend Assava more. The rooms were lovely and the location is absolutely stunning, with a great onsite bar/restaurant too. The whole place had a lovely chilled out vibe and the staff in the dive centre, resort and restaurant were really friendly and welcoming. My husband and I did some fantastic diving, while the kids did a number of discover scuba dives from the same dive boat. Heidi, their instructor, was amazing and all three kids rated it as their best 3 days ever! Our only regret was not having another few days there.

I moved to Assava from the sister company of Ban's Diving Resort. This location is much further off the beaten path than the more touristy area near Ban's. The diving trips had much less people and were much more catered to doing diving courses, which was great for me. All the staff were fantastic when it came to adjusting the dive sites to cater for the courses I was completing. So much so that after finishing my Rescue Diver course, I tacked on the Advanced Open Water course, nitrox course and shipwreck diver course. All of which was extremely easy to organise compared to trying to set up even a recreational dive with other companies on Koh Tao. This would be the number 1 place I would recommend anyone get any and all dive certifications. However if you are intending to go anywhere from this location around the island, there is a scooter rental 100m from the hotel. - Room size/layout - ⭐️⭐️ - Small room with 2 double beds next to each other - Cleanliness - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Cleaned daily by housekeeping - Maintenance - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Clearly an older build with expected wear and tear - Bed - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Firm but comfortable - Pillows - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Flat and lacking support - Shower - ⭐️⭐️⭐️- Small room w/toilet in the shower. Shower water gets quite cool but not cold - Toilet - ⭐️⭐️⭐️- Bidet toilet, no paper to be flushed - Towels - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Moderately sized towels with good absorption. Extra pool towels provided - Closet/Drawers - ⭐️⭐️ - Small rack with 4 coat hangers - Table - ⭐️ - Small bench to store items, but nowhere to eat/prepare food - Power - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Power outages once a day or so (ranging between 10-45min) - Aircon - ⭐️⭐️ - Barely kept the room cool. - Breakfast -⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Good food a short walk to the restaurant, but no continental breakfast included. - Kitchen - No kitchen in room - Room service - No, but not really required when so close to hotel restaurant - WiFi - ⭐️⭐️ - Unreliable and I tended to use my cellular instead - Parking - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Adequate parking for a rental scooter - Laundry - ⭐️⭐️⭐️- Coin operated washer and dryer near to restaurant, but no laundry service. (We used a laundry service just down the street from the hotel entrance) - Pool ⭐️⭐️ - Mostly used for dive training (very hot water, no shade and highly chlorinated) - Restaurant - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - A nice short walk from the rooms, all outside, small fans but no aircon. The food is a good mix of Thai food and more western options - Literally 10m from the restaurant/dive shop is the beach - Multiple nice areas to sit by the restaurant with bean bags, or chairs and enjoy the beach view - Beach sand is mostly small rocks and coral, not a great beach to walk along if you have soft feet - Dive instructors - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The whole team were fantastic and it was extremely easy to book in for extra dives, certification courses and get additional training. - Skip - fantastic Divemaster, extremely knowledgeable and helpful - Sofia - great rapport with students, made me

I did my Advanced Open Water with Jamie and had so much fun! The place is located right at the beach. It is a resort with various types of rooms and also it is a dive shop. It is super convenient to sign up for scuba diving. They go out twice a day, both are two tanks dives. They are well organized and have their own dive boat. The boat is comfortable and the equipment is in good condition. All of the dive masters and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with. My dive master was Benny. He is patient, friendly and helpful. Their fun dive package is good value with discount if you have multiple dives with them.

I completed my Padi open water with Isa and George, they where both great communicators which helped me pick up the required skills to complete the course. Lovely humans floating around here. Up and about crew to get you where you need to be to excel.

Een onvergetelijke ervaring bij Assava Dive resort. Wij hebben met 2 gezinnen (kids tussen de 20/14 jaar) de PADI cursus open water gedaan. Door Heidi (NL instructeur) en haar crew werd het echt een top ervaring. Cursus is best pittig want je leert nogal wat. Maar de instructeurs begeleiden en leiden je met vertrouwen, kundigheid en vooral heel veel geduld. Het samenspel met het resort en de omgeving is ook echt een aanrader; klein, verzorgd resort, kids kunnen vrij rondbanjeren, eten in de keuken goed, voor ieder wat wils en houden zelfs rekening met cursusplanning. Op loopafstand in het dorpje Baan Chalok vind je alles wat je nodig hebt inclusief goede restaurants.

We took our rescue diver course at Assava with super knowledgeable Joseph, assisted by kind and competent divemasters Saskia, Adam and Jamie in the resort. The vibe is very chill with a gorgeous bay view. Food is great. They helped us arrange fun dive too - thanks Jason!

It was a wonderful stay here! The dive school is very competent and I had an amazing dive master with Joseph, thanks a lot! The surroundings are super nice and a bit quieter. Delicious food was available directly in the resort& if you want to go to the city, you can also easily reach on foot. I would visit again :)

Briljante plek op koh tao, super laid back, heerlijk eten en fijne mensen. Ook de accomodaties hier zijn prima voor elkaar. Goeie bedden ( niet te hard) Als je wilt leren duiken moet je hier zijn, alles super voor elkaar. Ook NL instructeurs!
