A very pleasant stay overall, and for sure will be my stay of choice when I come again. Front desk service The gentleman on shift is very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the process from me considering to book a room to arrival and checking out. He had provided really helpful information, answered WhatsApp messages promptly, and has given helpful advice about local interests spots. With such friendly assistance it has truly made my stay very pleasant and the whole process easy and smooth! Superb and thank you! Room I booked a classic double room which is on the first floor with big windows overseeing the hill. Very clean, very quiet. The electric heater and the extra blanket are very helpful in this time of the year ~! The bed is very comfortable. Provided me a nice, quiet rest. Little settee and table are enough to let me enjoy a comfortable sitting around and do my reading, and a good spot to enjoy the food brought to the room too~ Toilet and bathroom : Very clean. Nice clean and thick towels. Water is very hot when need be, and powerful shower! Restaurant Delighted to have found spare ribs on the menu, not many places serve spare ribs. The dish that I tried was really tasty, and delicious and big portion as well! Very reasonably priced. The restaurant serves a wide variety of food. Service was really good. The staff there tried best to serve you the best, speedy, pleasant and friendly. Very good that food can be sent to the room for enjoyment. Complimentary breakfast has a wide variety as well, and it’s very decent! If the restaurant can provide special coffee that would even be more attractive~ Nearby attractions and transportation Within 5-10 minutes leisure walk you can reach very scenic spots overseeing the valley of Kohima. There is a nearby “Where the Food” restaurant right next to the scenic spots, where you can enjoy food overawing the valley. On a good sunny day another pleasant walk 20-25 minutes will take you farther downtown with nice cafes and others. Very convenient. I have enjoyed the stay thoroughly! Incroyable accueil dans un bel établissement, personnel aux petits soins (changement de chambre pour un lit plus confortable), aide pour organiser des excusions. Une anecdote: chaque jour ma femme demandait au menu un dessert au chocolat : "sorry not today", le dernier jour, le matin , un gâteau au chocolat l'attendait ! Autre surprise un superbe cadre offert en cadeau ! Il a pris place parmi nos souvenirs de voyages. Incredible India ...

NIRAAMAYA Retreats at ARADURA hill top of kohima is a wonderful hotel. We stayed here from 22 nd March 2024 for four nights. Rooms are very nice, neat and clean...all modern amenities are available in the room. Each and every staff is greeting you with a smiling face, everyone is efficient and courteous and helpful. The front office is helpful, special mention is Mr. Gopal Tamang ji who is really nice to everyone and help us to visit local tourist attractions....as a whole it is a awesome stay....wish to come back again..... Wishing NIRAAMAYA all the best.

It's a nice property. It gives you ' Paisa Wasool' feeling. All the Staffs were found good. Mr Gopal Tamang is a fantastic person and milestone of the property. He is the perfect manager of the property who knows the art of satisfying the customers. Food quality and ambience is awesome. All the best.

We absolutely loved our experience here! The people are incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the very start. The property itself is a beautiful blend of nature and heritage. The courtyard and balconies are overflowing with stunning, lush greenery and the traditional thatched roof at the front office is so charming . Inside, we loved admiring the beautiful local cultural decor and the handwoven map . It’s a peaceful, authentic, and memorable place run by truly wonderful people. Highly recommended!

I have stayed inn Aradura niraamaya kohima for 6 night's, The property is in the best location, food is good, though the property needs little renovation , Over all my experience is awesome , Thanks to Mr.Tamang who is always there whenever in need. Definitely visiting again.

Niraamaya Retreats is tucked away in the quieter parts of Kohima. It is very ideal for urban souls seeking some solitude. The property has premium and classic rooms, though the premium rooms are way better. The property is brilliantly managed by Gopal Tamang and his very capable staff. Gopal and his team heeded to our endless requests of room change, cooking instructions and whatnot. They did all of these with a smile and really saw to it that we are taken well care of. If I am planning a trip to Kohima again, Niraamaya is a no brainer.

Our 3-day stay at Niraamaya Retreats was truly wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly with smiles and tea — a gesture that immediately made us feel at home. Location of hotel is great amidst nature surroundings. Atmosphere was perfect as the name suggests-Retreat Room is spacious and clean.House keeping is upto the mark Value for money All the staff is very supportive and always ready to help in any which way specially Mr Tamang who was always attentive and gave immense support in all aspects.

We had a wonderful time at Niramaya Retreat. The location was scenic and peaceful. The property is ideal for families with kids and the elderly. The room we booked was quite spacious. The service was good. Overall we had a good stay

Fabulous . One must come and feel Nagaland and it's wonderful generous people. All the staff are simply great and helpful from the core. Gopal sir was too helpful and a very homely person. The room - no words to express. Actually everything is beyond words--it was a memorable stay with all. God bless all.

At first I booked a stay for 2 days to visit surrounding. But their hospitality is so good that I ended up spending not 3, not 4 but 5 consecutive days at Niraamaya Retreats. I suggest people to visit the unexplored places in Nagaland by road.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kohima today. The overall experience was extremely comfortable and pleasant. A special mention to Gopal at the reception—he was of great help and provided excellent assistance throughout, making the stay smooth and hassle-free. The food was also very good, fresh and well-prepared, which added to the experience. Clean rooms, courteous staff, and warm hospitality made this stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again!
