The hotel is positioned nearby to the lighthouse and breakwater. It’s a lovely hotel with attentive staff. The hotel has two restaurants, would recommend the hotel on the rooftop.

Stayed with family on our Kerala Tour. Booked two rooms for our stay. Greeted with welcome drink upon arrival and check in process was good. Rooms are really spacious with clean wash rooms. Had lunch, dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and nothing to complaint. Explore the pool in the morning and it's been maintained well and have a dedicated attendant to support us. Overall value for money property. Location is in far end and approach roads and surroundings are not matching with our expectations.

I would to recommend this place, who wants to have some time for relaxing, taking a time for yourself and just to make pause in life. The location, team, place and quality of everything is more than perfect. General manager Shahir welcomes everybody as the part of his family and personally explains the activities of the hotel. Ayurveda Therapist Sneha is something. I think she can heal everything with her arms. Highly recommended! Abhinan is the sun of the restaurant where I had all meals and he is so attentive and professional in all aspects. His smile and kind attitude made my day from early morning!

It is surprising how the reviews are managed and this hotel is marked as very good hotel. Reality is quite reverse! It is at the end of some road, there is nothing around. Kollam do not have Ola or Uber services. So what ever private cabs say, you have to just pay. From Thiruvananthapuram airport Kollam is only 60km. Cabs here are united and they shall loot you. For 60km they charge ₹2800/- When I was approaching this hotel, cab guy said it is 4 km away from city centre so I will have to pay ₹34/- per kilometre extra on top of Rs. 2800/- Now entering hotel, although cab dropped me exactly in front of hotel gate, no one came to pick my baggage. It has a push pull door, so it was impossible for single person to enter with bags. Then a room was given that had no window. AC cooling was moderate. I had reached in night and I had to had my dinner. But me being vegetarian, there were only couple of dishes on menu. And they were punjabi preparation. Finally I settled with fruit and ice cream. I had booked myself for 2 nights. After realising that they had no many veg options, I decided to leave this hotel next day. I was lucky, that this change was possible. Breakfast was just passable. Be aware, coming out of hotel, there is no auto or cab available. The front desk will call for auto and of course you have to pay whatever they demand. Just couple of kilometres they can demand ₹120-150/- Summary: if you are vegetarian, just avoid this place.

We chose d'fort as it was the only property close to tangasseri cathedral and convents. The staff was excellent. Willing to help and hear out suggestions. The trainee staff at the restaurant miss. Sunita and mr. Nikhil were always smiling and willing to serve with a smile. The only disappointment was there wasn't much choice for vegetarians. At night we hardly got any choice except for 2 punjabi dishes and some soup. No rice was available at night. Being an ayurveda resort, i was surprised to see that there were more non veg items than vegetarian items. The authentic taste for tapioca was also missing.

Great experience. It’s a nice and cosy stay. Kudos to arun for extraordinary hospitality and must try ayurvedic treatments. Sneha is a wonderful therapist there.

Its an old property and lot of mosquitoes were there and the staff was very arrogant in nature and not service minded

i loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and facilities to the serene pool area and gym facility. the premium amenities and wellness facilities offered us an excellent experience. the rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant décor. they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. i was impressed by the efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. i will recommend others for sure!

The stay was nice, wish there was hair dryer in the bathroom and a fridge in room. Otherwise the rest of the stay was pleasant. Swimming pool was clean and maintained. Gym has minimal weights and machines for the short stay. The roof top restaurant and the morning buffet were good. We enjoyed it.

Amazing hotel, very good and helpful staff. Polite staff, got good room with family.

Went for a conference the property location is lovely, morning walk to the thangasherry beach was invigorating, rooms were spacious, with two bathrooms and an extended stout. Room service took some time but the club sandwiches were delicious

Stayed here with my friends for a meeting...nice ambience...All staffs are really helpfull..tasty food....break water and light house just walkable distance...Got late checkout...thanks for everything team dfort...............

Most utter flop hotel in kollam,food not good,customer have so many issues related 😔 cleanliness,ac not working,bedsheets not good,behaving not good,no improvement in food in 2 days,no ambience here,but too much expensive,waiting for food tto long
