The location and view are wonderful also the management with service are perfect .

We hosted a family reunion in 3 villas from May 14-21. Wow - could not have asked for a better experience, thanks to the hard work of the fantastic employees at Waiohai ! Our villas were all exceptionally clean & fully stocked with everything we expect from Marriott Vacation Club villas — all kitchenware you need to host that many folks, cleaning products, toiletries, towels, etc! Everything was in good working condition except for the sofas. I don’t know why they are consistently uncomfortable at MVC properties, but that’s a minor inconvenience. Waiohai’s pools were in great condition & the grounds looked great! We spent almost every morning at Poipu Beach, which is truly right off the resort grounds. Saw monk seals & sea turtles each morning, watched surfers, and snorkeled each day! The employees are who make Waiohai the very special spot in paradise that it is, though! We appreciate the whole team — from maintenance & housekeepers to activies! Special thanks to: Austin — night auditor extraordinaire! He is so knowledgeable, kind, & helpful! Michelle — bar tender -/ great service & mai tai class. Kai — front desk — he is so very welcoming, kind, & helpful! Carol - Honu bar waitstaff - kind & efficient. Celeste — front desk — very cheerful & helpful! Candace —front desk — very kind & helpful! Princess - activities, great at multitasking with a smile! Justin Boe “Bear” — Conceirge Aqualani Resort Activities, booked great large group dinner reservations! Jordan - Aqualani Resort Services, & Jade- Aqualani Resort Services. They do a fantastic job of serving guests. Vanessa Mendoza — Waiohai housekeeping - she is so kind, efficient, & knowledgeable! Kendra — Waiohai front desk - extremely helpful & kind! Mahalo nui loa to you all as well as the other associates whose names I didn’t catch. You all provided a fantastic vacation for us!

We have been time share owners for 18 years. Every year when I get my maintenance fee invoice, I swear I am going to try to sell (as it is not cheap). But practically every year we go back (we have very occasionally traded properties, but we have yet to find anything even close to the Waiohai). We are never disappointed, and given the daily room rates at the Marriott and elsewhere in Poipu, the annual fee is becoming a bargain. We can't wait to go back the next year (we are already booked for 2024). The property has been well maintained over the years. And the level of service has been improved to the point that I think it is impeccable. The staff are, to a person, amazing. The front desk staff are the friendliest and most accommodating and service oriented of any property I have ever stayed at. Cudos to the management, who have truly succeeded in developing a strong culture of service; authentic, warm, friendly, and efficient in every department. This year, there were 14 family members staying in three units. The accommodation was perfect for us. I would actually like to keep it a secret, but Poipu truly has to be one of the most wonderful places on the planet. There are a myriad of activities available and lots of restaurants nearby that would be among our favourites if they were in our hometown. We feel blessed to have access to this paradise on earth and to have had the opportunity to make incredible, lasting memories at Waiohai and Poipu. Maholo Waiohai!

This place is incredible! We only stayed one night, our last night on the island. We really appreciated the hospitality for people like us who needed to check out in the morning but have access to the resort until the evening when it was time to leave. Highly recommend!

We love staying here. The staff is so attentive. We love that we can step out of our patio door and walk right to the beach. The views are gorgeous and accommodations so comfortable. We highly recommend the resort!

My partner and I spent 2 weeks traveling around Hawaii. We decided to splurge and stay here for our last 2 nights thinking we'd save the best accommodation for last. It couldn't have been more opposite. We were surprisingly charged for parking. I'm a Marriott rewards member and I didn't think I would have to pay but the guy at the front desk didn't seem to care. Then we check into our room and it was the most depressing thing ever. Stains on the carpets, outlets that didnt work, and a view of the parking lot. Seriously?! I've always been a fan of Marriott's but not anymore after this stay. I thought we'd end Hawaii with a bang here and I left feeling pretty deflated. I'm guessing they treat those that book through ********** like second class citizens. I wasn't expecting an ocean front suite but the room we stayed in was far different from the photos on the wedsite. Check in is at 10am too. We called the night before and asked if we could have an 11am check out to align better with our flight and they said no. Awesome! Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. You're likely to have better customer service and a better view anywhere else!

I would have liked my room to have been cleaned! I was out all day, but when I returned from a long day, I found my room with the bed unmade and no fresh towels. It was a little disappointing, especially for the price!! Also, the times and selection of food on the property were limited!

Excellent stay. Went with a family of 6 and had an amazing time. The rooms in building 7 were clean, comfortable, and in perfect location to the pool and beach. You cannot ask for anything else from a hotel/ location. Hotel staff was attentive and were always helpful.
