Κλείσαμε το Ξενοδοχείο για να διανυκτερεύσουμε ερχόμενοι από Κύθηρα. Ήταν έκδηλο απο τις φωτογραφίες ότι το ξενοδοχείο είναι παλιό αλλά σε καμία περίπτωση δεν περιμέναμε αυτό που αντικρίσαμε. Μείναμε στο δωμάτιο 59 , το δωμάτιο ήταν βρώμικο, στα ταβάνια ήταν αράχνες , το μπανιο ήταν τόσο παλιό και βρόμικο που σιχαινόσουνα να μπεις ποσό μάλλον να κανείς μπανιο . Ξαπλωσαμε με τα ρούχα και τα μαξιλάρια μύριζαν υγρασία .Οι μπριζες ήταν βαμμένες σε μια προσπάθεια μάλλον το ξενοδοχείο να φρεσκαριστεί , οι μόνες διαθέσιμες μπριζες για να φορτίσουμε τα τηλεφωνα μας ήταν στο πάνω μέρος αυτή της τηλεόρασης και στο κατω μέρος μια δίπλα στη σκάλα . Στον καναπέ σιχαινόσουνα να καθίσεις γιατί ήταν πια είναι κίτρινος . Ήταν πραγματικά μια τραυματική εμπειρία . Είχαμε μιλήσει για την κράτηση με την Διευθύντρια του ξενοδοχείου η οποία ήταν πολύ ευγενική και φιλική και αν πραγματικά αν δεν ήταν εκείνη τόσο ευγενική και εξυπηρετική θα φεύγαμε χωρίς να πληρώσουμε . Χρεωθήκαμε 60€ τη διανυκτέρευση σε ένα δωμάτιο που δεν άξιζε ούτε 10€. Διστάσαμε να πάρουμε τηλέφωνο όταν φτάσαμε να μιλήσουμε στην διευθύντρια για αυτή την απαράδεκτη κατάσταση διότι θεωρήσαμε ότι 1:30 τα χαράματα δεν είχαμε έτσι και αλλιώς άλλες επιλογές . Ήταν η χειρότερη εμπειρία της ζωής μου όσον αφορά διανυκτέρευση σε ξενοδοχείο και Πραγματικα πιστεύω ότι αν αυτό το ξενοδοχείο περνούσε από έλεγχο ΕΟΤ ξανά σήμερα θα το έκλειναν .

Posto bello da lontano ma arrivando dentro da l'idea di cosa abbiamo trovato, una reception per iniziare sporca basta vedere le vetrate delle finestre, le camere arredate in un modo spartano con bagni da 1.20x1.20 senza bidet e con doccia senza doccino fisso ma con doccino a mano acqua calda assente e acqua fredda il più delle volte di colore marrone cucinino sporco e arrugginito pulizie scarse e fatte male, ci avevano detto che avevamo vista giardino ma abbiamo trovato solo un albero che poco mancava entrava in casa. Piscina che invece di tenere aperto per le persone che tornavano dal mare chiudeva alle 18, colazione solo dalle 9 fino alle 10. Non la consiglio a nessuno.

A hidden gem in Kolymvari. Wonderful view from the pool over Kolymvari and the rest of the Chania Prefecture. We had a very tastful homemade cheeseburger for lunch. Prices are very good. The people working there, Ioanna and Kostas, do their best to make you feel at home (and we don’t even rent a room there). We’ll be back again for sure!

Absolutely beautiful little hotel with great views and very fairly priced. Hosts at the bar made us dinner at 11:30pm (we had a late check in which was also no problem) the first day and were very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend to stay here :)

Basic modern apartment, very clean and plenty clean sheets and towels. So peaceful at night, never slept so well. Nice pool with gorgeous views and snacks and drinks available. Short walk to the beach with half a dozen restaurants where the meals are enormous! The manager has a eye for detail and makes sure everything is ok.Nice coastal walks also and village atmosphere to resort. Not suitable for anybody with mobility issues but apart from that absolutely fabulous

Appena arrivati ,dall esterno , sembrava molto carino . Entrati in camera ci siamo subito ricreduti. Camera sporca con ragni attaccati alle sedie, fornello e frigo vecchi e sporchi , bagno sporco , piccolo e vecchissimo . X non finire durante la prima notte siamo rimasti senza acqua e luce fino alle 8:30 del mattino . Dovevamo restare un ‘ altra notte ma siamo scappati via subito

Wir sind eine Familie mit 2 Jungs und haben 2 Appartements mit Meerblick gebucht. Die Appartements sind großräumig und sehr sauber...Wir haben ohne Verpflegung gebucht und immer gemütlich im Appartement gefrühstückt...Die Appartements sind sehr ruhig gelegen was sehr angenehm ist. Der Hotelchef Dimitri ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt gute Tipps und Auskünfte über die Insel....Das Personal ist auch sehr nett ...in Summe ist der Urlaub mit griechischem Flair und geniesst in Vollen Zügen....Fam Gredler

Esterno molto curato, piscina e piano bar accoglienti. Peccato per l’interno della camera: odore di muffa persistente, cucina e stoviglie non puliti (le pentole erano unte, ho impiegato mezza bottiglia di detersivo per sgrassarle..), fornelli non funzionali (un’ora per bollire un pentolino per fare due uova sode), bagno minuscolo, non pulito, quasi inagibile, mobili molto datati. Posizione buona e panorama gradevole.

The beginning of the trip told us exactly what was to be expected from our stay. We unfortunately arrived a lot later than expected and the reception was closed. However, staff had left us a note on the door letting us know that they had left the key for us, with a map to our room. We went straight up to our room and enjoyed a beautiful view from the balcony. The next morning we went down to the pool to ask how we can check in, the member of staff behind the bar informed us that the manager would be arriving after 10 and sat us down for breakfast, which was the usual pastries, bread, spreads, cheeses, meats, coffee and juices, which was a great start to the day, every day. We waited until 10 and met the manager (I believe), who was genuinely one of the friendliest men I have ever met, he instantly made us feel welcome. Every time we passed a member of staff, they also welcomed and greeted us, usually stopping to chat. At the end of the stay, the manager also allowed us to stay in the hotel room a couple of hours after check out, due to our flight time being rather late. For the price of the stay, I cannot give a single complaint, and I would be more than happy to stay again. Very good location, despite the steep hill, everything is very close. Chania is a very cheap bus journey away, don’t pay for transfers, as the bus is only about €3 each way.

One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Our room had a stunning view of the bay and was very quiet and spotless. Everyone was very friendly and the whole 2 weeks was relaxing and comfortable. The fridge, air conditioning and safe we're all included in the price. A really lovely place to stay with Ioanna and Kostas giving an excellent service around the pool. This hotel is not for the unsteady or if you have difficulty in climbing steps or the short hill to the hotel.

Why does it state 'no alcoholic beverages in this hotel', Kostas makes wonderful cocktails, it's a great place to stay. The pool is lovely, the restaurant is great, Greek and international food. The rooms are kept very clean. There are terrific views of the mountains and the coast.

We stayed for 8 nights a week or two ago, arrived late due to flight delays and there was an envelope with apartment key and map attached to the Reception door which was handy. The 2 room apartment was fine but slightly dated and dishevelled, however all completely serviceable. There is no kettle or, in our flat anyway, no sharp knives to cut food, prep veg etc Bought some cheap ones at a supermarket anyway. Shower was fine. Aircon in the kitchen and dining area only, not the bedroom The pool bar is run by a couple who were very friendly and helpful not to mention very hardworking, open from 8am til late every day. Happy hour between 4pm and 5pm, 2 draught beers for the price of 1. Fix is the brew, very palatable especially in 33 degrees heat. 10 mins walk to beach and supermarket in the centre of the town. Sold as self catering but feel that they would prefer you to eat at the pool side bar! Worth going definitely and is a great family run place to stay when in Kolymvari.

Just as other reviews have stated, this hotel gives you a great Greek experience/vibes. It is definitely a hidden gem and you just can’t beat the price for what you’re getting. Our hotel room was a bit dated, especially the bathroom, but looked exactly like the photos so we knew what we were getting into. It was fine and I we never spent much time in it anyways. The views are stunning as it is set on the top of a hill and the pool area is amazing as well. We had great drinks from the pool bar but unfortunately did not get a chance to try the food, although it looked amazing. A very nice beach and lovely restaurants are just a short 10 min walk down the hill. The staff were all so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
