西爾瓦努斯酒店(Silvanus Hotel)

At the request of the Silvanus hotel (among others), motorcyclists were diverted from the renovated road to the road that is prone to accidents. According to their latest statement, they have no influence on the matter, but they supported this solution at the beginning. The illegal car races at night have continued since then, you can't relax here. Institutionalized discrimination

En voyant les photos de ce magnifique hôtel en hauteur dans la forêt et avec vue sur la boucle du Danube, c'est là que j'ai eu envie de séjourner. Nous avons pris une chambre supérieure avec vue côté Danube. L'hôtel, construit en 1971, dans les parties communes et dans les chambres, offre le confort et l'ambiance des grands hôtels d'antan. La chambre est très spacieuse, particulièrement bien aménagée, avec de nombreux rangements. Bref, le vrai confort, comme on ne le fait plus toujours aujourd'hui. La grande baie vitrée sur le paysage est un vrai plaisir. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et n'avons pas utilisé la voiture pendant notre séjour, car nous avons fait les visites de la forteresse (à côté) et du Palais Royal en empruntant les chemins de randonnées à travers la forêt (une quarantaine de minutes - tout est très bien balisé). Nous avons aussi profité de la piscine intérieure pour nager (20 mètres). Néanmoins, deux choses à dire : - nous avons été gênés par le bruit. D'une part car il y a un jacuzzi près de la piscine extérieure et, en permanence, les cinq-six personnes qui l'occupent parlent très fort. Autant dire que c'est gênant si on veut profiter de la terrasse. D'autre part car l'hôtel était complet en ce week-end pascal, avec beaucoup de familles, et, comme il n'y a pas de porte sas, on entend les gens qui passent et parlent dans le couloir. - le prix est celui d'un quatre étoiles, mais, côté restauration, ce n'est pas du tout le cas de la cuisine proposée (buffet) et de l'ambiance au restaurant. Nous ne regrettons pas d'y avoir séjourné, mais une période plus calme aurait davantage permis d'apprécier ce lieu qui reste exceptionnel.

The hotel (incl, room, public spaces and wellness) were very clean and nice, everyone in the hotel stuff was very polite, helpful and friendly. We were there with 2 children (5 and 8), who could enjoy the playhouse and a very friendly lady has taken care of them. I recommend the hotel for everyone incl. couples and families, we will come back as soon as we can.

Most beautiful, special environment, friendly and helpful staff, huge variety of excellent food for breakfast and dinner, well equipped , very clean, spacious bedroom, nice "playground"-room for kids of different ages, spacious halls where you can get coffee or read your book, good wellness/ bath unit.

Amazing place. There is even a playhouse - which is not really advertised and our kids loved it - useful :) - they have animator, too there. The new year's eve party was nicely organized - particularly loved the jazz music nights.

Excellent hotel and staff! Beutiful panorama.The food is delicious, high-level service. Many kinds of drinks and coffees. Jacuzzi and pool have perfect temperature. A great variety of programs and excursions, the most suitable place for active rest.

Fantastic outlook on Danube bend if you select a room with river panorama. Excellent kitchen and service. Wide variaty of wellness offered. Easy nearby trails to discover the environment. Unfortunately the the fortress museum (Fellegvár) on the next hilltop is closed from Monday to Thursday.

A little old-fashioned but very nice hotel with friendly staff and a good restaurant with wide selection. The wellness area is not so big but we were in January when there were not many guests so the size of wellness areas were more than enough. There is a panorama jacuzzi outside, which is really cool.

Beutiful enviroment and veiw, amazing staff. Meals are perfect, the reastaurant is impressive. The citadel and the royal palace is in the neighborhood, you can go there by foot. You can easily get there by car or by bus.
