馬賽馬拉無花果樹露營地酒店(Fig Tree Camp - Maasai Mara)

From the game drives to the camp and property, and everything in between, we couldnt ask for better. We have been here before (10yrs ago) and insisted on coming back. During this trip, we were celebrating an 80th birthday. This staff went over and above to ensure everything was perfect. They helped us organized a surprise balloon ride at dawn and then surprised us all, with the masai people doing a dance, singing and cake presentation for my moms birthday. The staff were truly amazing and treated us like family more than guests. It was only 3 days but when we left we felt as though we had known them for years. A huge thank you to Stella and Sheila for making this celebration so amazing.

Notre séjour fut un rêve ! La réserve est exceptionnelle mais pas seulement, le personnel est très attentionné, jo notre chauffeur pour les safaris est le meilleur à chaque sortie nous avons pu profiter d un nouveau spectacle animalier rare. Il connaît très bien les animaux, et les chemins de la réserve masai mara. L hôtel est extrêmement propre et tout le confort nécessaire est disponible. Merci à vous tous Eric et jennifer

Wir haben ein 3 tätigen Safariausflug in die Masai Mara gemacht. Angereist sind wir mit dem Flugzeug angereist. Am Airport sind wir von dem Fahrer empfangen worden, der uns auch die ganze Zeit auf den Fahrten ein sehr guter Guide war. Leider hat er kein Deutsch gesprochen aber wir haben alles erfahren was wir wissen wollten. Mit Händen und Füßen ging das sehr gut. Im Camp waren wir in einem Kleinen Häuschen untergebracht worden. Etwas hellhörig aber gut ausgestattet und gerade der sanitärbereich war sehr sauber und modern ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Essen war frisch und sehr ausreichend. Der Service war professionell. Die Pirschfahrten waren mit vielen Tieren eine Schau. Rundum es war eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Sehr nettes Safari Camp in der Masai Mara. Personal überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen sehr schmackhaft und gute Getränke auswahl. Bier wirklich schön kalt. Unterkunft im Zelt oder Hütte. Schönes Bad. Nur das Bett ein bisschen zu klein.leider. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles.

Als je de reis van je dromen maakt en dat dan ook àlles blijkt te kloppen. Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije medewerkers maakten ons verblijf in dit knusse verblijf een feestje. En als je dan 2 dagen op safari mag met guide Joel Nkukuu dan krijgt deze ervaring zonder twijfel de hoogste waardering!

This was one fantastic place. An oasis in the wild. The rooms were clean. The food was amazing. The staff are the best on earth. They treat you with the best of respect and are fortuitous knowing our needs before we did. While the generator service was on a timer, it was never not available when we needed it. The best part was being away from all the technology and having a back to nature experience while on safari. The Safari at the Masai Mara, on which the Fig Tree sits, was the best experience I have had, seeing the wild life up close. The Fig Tree is indeed an oasis in the wild. Thank you Fig Tree for giving a great experience.

We opted for the luxury riverside tent, it was great. Sitting on the porch watching the hippos play in the Talek river was wonderful. I booked this lodge because of a review which said "...only go somewhere else if The Fig Tree is full" and I now second this viewpoint after a 4 night stay and 5 fabulous game drives. At meal times we were served by Stella. One of the staff who were incredibly polite and very well presented in tradional attire. The food was good...usually a buffet with a speciality chef alongside doing additional dishes. Our game driver, Jonathon, was very adept at navigating the rivers and ravines of the Mara park and locating the action each day. We did 5 drives in 4 days each taking several hours and we saw hundreds of different animals including 4 of the big 5. Each drive was a wonderful experience with different animals interacting with each other in freindly and hostile manners. Its a roller coaster of emotion out there, we were never once bored. The room/tent we had was comfortable and totally bug free it seemed to have a good age to it but had been well maintainedand upgraded over its life. Security staff were always present to assit with torches if dark or give guided tours if light. The bar area was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

Fantastische Lage am Fluss Talek mit vielen Hippos, die man direkt von der Terrasse beobachten kann. Under Zelt war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Nur die Matratze nach unserem Geschmack war etwas zu hart. Das Essen war frisch und hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Das Personal ist super freundlich.
