泰納馬拉民宿(Taigh na Mara Bed and Breakfast)

Wir waren Ende Januar für drei Tage Carol zu Gast und haben uns überaus Wohl gefühlt. Die beiden Zimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet, groß genug, verfügen eine Terrasse, das Frühstück wird von Carol liebevoll zubereitet und serviert, auf Wunsch kocht sie auch abends, was wir einmal in Anspruch genommen haben, ihre Kochkunst istsehr zu loben, genauso die Art, wie sie sich um ihre Gäste kümmert – nicht aufdringlich, aber freundlich und herzlich. Wir danken auf diese Weise nochmals Carol für Ihre Gastfreundschaft. Wenn der Weg nach Neuseeland nicht so weit wäre, würden wir gerne dorthin wiederkommen. Peter und Martha Schmitt, Deutschland.

Wir durften 3 Nächte bei Carol verbringen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist eine sehr herzliche Person und gab uns viele Tipps auch für schlechtes Wetter. Das Frühstück und ihre selbstgemachten Marmeladen und Kekse waren sehr lecker. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

We had a wonderful time during our two nights at the b and b. Carol was welcoming and offered great tips about things to do and see. The room was very comfortable and the food was great. Including the homemade cookies she placed in our room each day! Sitting outside with a glass of wine and listening to the sounds of the waves was so relaxing, and walking the beach was incredible.

We had a wonderful stay with Carol. The location, surrounded by a beautiful garden and quick access to a very long beach, is very good. Carol is a perfect hostess who also gave us lots of tips for local activities. The breakfast was plentiful and very good.

Such a lovely quiet place, bright, clean and fresh. Carol has thought of everything, torches, beach towels and buckets & spades! Breakfast was a calm and relaxing experience. Carol was also very knowledgable and informative about the surrounding area and she made some excellent recommendations. I hope we get chance to visit again. Thank you.

Carol is very hospitable. A relief to experience. The apartment is neat and clean. The highlight was breakfast because Carol prepares almost everything herself. The Coromandel area is nice and has beautiful cozy beaches. What was also fun to experience were all those people who dig holes at low tide to get hot water.

One of the nicest B&Bs I’ve ever went to. Lovely host, cosy bedroom and lots of nice chats. Carol is the best! You can even have a nice homemade dinner after a long drive, if you do don’t want to drive into town anymore. I loved the heated mattress.

We had a very pleasant stay. Carol was so nice and helpful! Thanks to her, we had an amazing day on Coromandel peninsula. The breakfast was fabulous and there is a beautiful beach just in front of the house.

We had two wonderful days there -- a perfect location to explore Coromandel (kajak tour in Hahei to Cathedral Cove, Waiau Kauri Grove and Waiau Falls ). Our host Carol gave us a lot of very good hints for our journey and provided us a wonderful dinner.
