Awesome stay with scenic lakeside view and excellent hospitality by staff

We had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best. Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff. Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views. The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage. Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us. Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste We will definitely going to return and recommend to our friends to visit ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGES Thanks once again for serving is the best treat Keep it up 💕🙏😍

Hotel is excellent for lake side cottage stay and food. All the staffs working there are polite and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there with my family.

We had an amazing visit with our family, with delicious food. We had the opportunity to try our hand fishing, got introduced to the different types of fruits and tasted some honey made in their farm. The staff were kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and it was a very peaceful stay. Would highly recommend.

Had an amazing stay at the beautiful Illikakum Lakeside Cottages in Kumarakom. Beautiful view, amazing organic produce (all types of fruits, vegetables and honey)! Very comfortable furnished rooms and facilities. A highlight was catching fish using fishing rods provided by the staff. The owners are very kind owners and the staff are lovely and we’re always willing to help. The food was also delicious and very fresh! All in all, a 10/10 beautiful experience

Very beautiful, calm and a very serene place. Its run well, with clean and well kept rooms served by humble and lovely people. They are committed to serve healthy and fresh food with their own farm produces (veg). The view is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking scenery of the backwater. I would recommend it highly to people who are looking for a calm and trustworthy place to heal,relax and recharge.

Very nice lake facing rooms, with good service, good food. TT table is also enjoyed by my kids very much. They have farm fresh vegetables and good cook, who makes variety of items on order
