Very nice property on back waters…resort has water body in centre which is good to look at Good quality is good and service was good Rooms are good size but need renovation now as don’t seem like 5 star standard

Super Hotel mit sehr gutem Essen. Der Service ist exzellent. Uns wurden hier alle Wünsche erfüllt. Ajay hat sich sehr gut um unsere Kinder gekümmert und mit ihnen Fische gefangen, gebastelt und Zaubertricks geübt.

The property location is great but if you want Taj experience then this is NOT the place for you. The services are poor. The rooms and property are dated and not clean. This is so unlike other Taj properties. The resturants had very limited spread and not a star rated quality food. Taj hotel need to do something to improve overall property quality or else they are going to loose it's brand value.

Magnifique hôtel dans un immense domaine, vert, calme et très bien entretenu, lit confortable, chambre et sdb grandes et agréables, propreté, personnel accueillant et très attentionné, restaurant délicieux. Terrasse privée sur le bord du lac. Une TAJ signature ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Often when people rave about a place you end up going there and are a bit disappointed. Not Taj Kumarakom. Despite the highest levels of praise from our friends, we had a truly magical and wonderful experience - made possible by the property and the backwater experiences of course, but most importantly by THE PEOPLE OF TAJ. Starting with Ms Priya, the duty manager, and several other staff - including Suresh Sir (reserved tables for our family even without asking), Alan (knew exactly what we wanted after just one order), Anish, Ajo, Lucy, Fami, Fatima, Seji, Akshaya, Dr Akshara, Malu at the pool, Nitya our yoga teacher, Sachin and Sanjay at the Activity centre, and of course Shadab the GM, the experience is truly magical and you are incredibly well looked after. THE ROOMS are large, spacious, stepping out into the lake. THE FACILITIES are superb, the Ayurveda centre, kayaking, zip lining were all memorable. THE EXPERIENCES are one of a kind. We did the Shikara sunset ride (cannot miss it), the house boat for four hours (wouldn’t recommend overnight stay), evening sunset tea/ coffee, and of course the Ayurveda centre. THE PROPERTY is stunningly beautiful and so well maintained. You will take too many pictures! THE FOOD is wonderful - not only the authentic Kerala cuisine, but also the non Kerala food was top notch. A huge thanks to all at the property but particularly, Priya looked after us incredibly well, took special care of a senior citizen in our party, suggested and booked places and experiences, and overall was the anchor for our stay, making us feel so much at home. Wouldn’t have been the same without her and her colleagues.

It was an amazing stay: the beautiful resort located amidst greenery & water is a treat to the eyes: the top notch hospitality of the entire team is extraordinary: the welcoming words of the GM mr. Shadab khan still echoes in my ears “ welcome to the taj family as a family member’: I haven’t met another such gigantic down to earth person in the near past: the personal care taken by the executive chef mr. Binu mon is exemplary: not to forget the wonderful houseboat ride in lake Wembanad arranged by Mr.Vinpugal Dasrat: the service os others like Mr.Senthil( housekeeping head), Mr. Suresh & others at the restaurant deserve appreciation Would love to go back again

This was my second stay at Taj Kumarakom and it was the perfect way to end a memorable Kerala holiday. There is something very calming about this property, and returning felt like coming back to a familiar place. Spent our time simply enjoying the beautiful views of Vembanad Lake, especially at sunset. Watching the changing colours over the water was a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed participating in some of the activities offered by the resort, which added to the overall experience. What really makes this property special is the people. The service was warm, attentive and always delivered with a smile. A special thank you to Alan AJ in the restaurant, who looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay. Our thanks to the entire team for making us feel so welcome and for helping create another wonderful memory.
