Séjour de deux nuits dans cet hôtel. Notre chambre était charmante avec un beau balcon donnant sur l'arrière. La personne de l'accueil était très serviable et agréable. La situation est idéale car l'hôtel est situé juste à côté du temple et comme nous étions là la semaine d'une grande fête , il y avait une animation de tous les diables dans celui ci ce qui nous a occupées les deux jours en plus d'une balade dans les canaux d'Allepey. Deux points négatifs : l'eau de la piscine était peu engageante , franchement c'était étonnant car l'hôtel est bien tenu. Nous n'en avons donc pas profité. Il y avait très peu de touristes en même temps que nous si bien qu'on avait l'impression d'un hôtel sur le déclin alors qu'il est bien entretenu. Nous le conseillons tout de même bien sûr.

Good ambience. Comfortable stay. Neatly kept, friendly staff. Breakfast was not satisfactory and very basic.

A quaint place in Kumarakom - the location is perfect and the best thing is its next to the Kumarakom temple. Rooms were clean and staff fantastic! Great place

Our stay was very enjoyable. Especially the homely ambience and service. A special mention for Sumit & Arathi who were always very pleasant & supportive. Also their other team members. The food was also very homely. The arrangements made for boating were also very good.

This is a lovely property.Its a heritage property with a fantastic pool. The location is awesome. The service is excellent and the amenities are all top notch. The complimentary breakfast was superb. We really enjoyed our stay and it's worth the money we spent. Will certainly recommend this to my friends and family and looking forward to come back again.

I stayed at tharavdu heritage home in October 2013 for 2 nights. I was there with my wife for a conference. Unfortunately, the conference was very poorly organised and the only saving grace of the trip was this hotel. Our decision to go was sort of last minute,so we didn't get rooms/ couldn't afford rooms in the more we'll known lakeside resorts in kumarakom. I booked this hotel based on the reviews and photos on tripadvisor... And hoped for the best. I went with low expectations as I've had bad experiences earlier... But this time I was pleasantly surprised. I have a weakness for old buildings and I fell in love with the main bungalow building as soon as I set my eyes upon it. It was even more beautiful than the photographs. We stayed in the AC heritage room on the ground floor of the the main 140 year old building(room no 25) For less than Rs 2500 per night, this room is definitely worth it. It's a bit cramped but clean. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious. The room also had a small sitout but because of Mosquitos it can't be used in the early morning/ after dark. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only meals we had at the hotel was breakfast on both the days. This has to be ordered the evening before... But the food was good. A few tips: The best rooms I think are on the first floor of the main building (above our room)... these have a better sit out. Try to avoid the non AC rooms as there is a serious mosquito problem. If u do take a non AC room, avoid the rooms in the annexe as they are closer to a temple nearby and u will be disturbed at 3 in the morning. Also, the annexe is separated from the rest of the buildings by a canal over which there is a bridge made of 2 coconut tree trunks and 2 bamboo railings... Which is not very convenient if u have luggage. But there is a separate entry to the annexe from the main road.

Rooms were good and clean. Food was good too. The care takers were helping us well. shikara ride for sunset arranged by them for 1300 rs was an awesome experience

Food is not available as no restaurant on premises. need to add more activities and guidance to make value for money of travelllers

Positive 1) Clean room and bathroom 2) Ancient exterior and interior 3) cordial staff Negative 1) Property is not fully ready, lot of construction work going on 2) Only room and pool available. You don’t have any other options for indoor games, forget about outdoor activities 3) No in house restaurant and you have to go out for even a tea or coffee 4) Not an excellent location 5) Rates are too high when competing to the facility they offer. Much cheaper options are available with better facilities Overall it didn’t meet our expectations
