Je suis resté 2 jours dans cet hôtel bien placé, central et en même temps très calme, au milieu de la forêt avec des oiseaux et des singes. le personnel est aimable et efficace, les réservations pour le bus et bateau de periyar sont à 200 m et presque en face les réservations pour des spectacle de danse et d’art martiaux . Piscine fraîche et agréable .

Bel hôtel avec des chambres spacieuses et bien aménagées. Attention la mosquée n'est pas loin. Alors boules Quies pour l'appel de 05h! L'établissement est situé au calme mais dans le centre ville près des magasins et des restaurants. Les bus pour le parc sont à 10mns à pieds. Bon petit-déjeuner et très bon dîner.

Après avoir quitter les chaudes plaines du Tamil Nadu nous voici au abord du Kerala et arrivons dans ses forêts rafraîchissantes et cet hôtel est un lieu agréable à tous points de vues. Les chambres, dans de jolis bungalows en coteaux offrent une terrasse nous permettant de profiter de la fraîcheur et des bruits de la faune sauvage. Le service de chambre et la restauration sont de bon niveau. Sa proximité avec le parc national de Periyar est un atout important. La présence a une centaine de mettre d'un centre culturel peut permettre également la découverte des arts martiaux et du théâtre traditionnel du sud de l'Inde. Merci pour le séjour.

Très bel hôtel en pleine nature avec bungalows éparpillés dan le parc de l'hôtel Grande chambre, grand lit très confortable Belle salle de bain Salle à manger extérieure très sympathique Petit déjeuner buffet bien complet pour les européens

Hôtel doté d’un environnement végétal d’exception au cœur de la ville de Thekkady. Chambres confortables et ambiance particulièrement apaisée . Restauration de qualité et personnel bienveillant. Cet hôtel éloigné de l’agitation de la rue , est un véritable havre de paix et dispose d’une piscine subtilement intégré à l’environnement .

Neat cottage rooms with bathroom. Food menu was limited but taste was awesome. Spice level matching kerala taste buds. Friendly staff. Good location. Ample carparking for private and own vehicles in seperate areas.overall a very good experience

The Hotel location is Perfect proximity to the Tiger Preserve ,ELEPHANT CAMPS & CLOSE PROMITIY TO THE MARKET SHOPPING AREAS. Peppermint Restaurant has a good menu but More than half of the items are NOT available. Also the complementary breakfast did not have many varieties. Rooms well furnished, with a balcony overlooking the greenery. The washroom was very clean with all necessary gadgets and excellent room service. The path from the room to the restaurant was through a well maintained garden. The swimming pool was quite good but due to weather conditions couldn't spend more time in the pool .Would suggest a warm pool in this case. Car parking space were adequate. Ayurveda SPA was excellent with good privacy and friendly staff. check in and checkout was handled smoothly.

The Hotel location is Perfect proximity to the Tiger Preserve. Hotel has Monkeys running through the trees and jumping on the balcony. Therefore, be careful with what you put out on your balcony and lock the sliding glass doors or you will bet un-invited guest. The monkeys are cute and entertaining. Peppermint Resturant has a good menu but 1/2 the items are NOT AVAILABLE. Therefore very very limited. Also No Bar. The Moose & Malt bar is a close 10 min walk. Hotel is undergoing expansion construction that is Not very organized or considerate of the guests. Construction starts before breakfast, which starts late at 8AM and ends at 10AM. Construction noise is bad at breakfast. Additionally the construction kills the pool enjoyment. The Hotel Power constantly goes out and resets the WIFI signal. The Hotel is the best one in the area and very convenient to the Tiger Preserve. Therefore, I recommend this Hotel. Best bang for the price and service. Staff professional & friendly with making you pleased with your stay. The tiger preserve is great, but if you want to see animals get your walking shoes and take the raft and trek. You will need to trek deep into the park too see the wildlife.

The rooms I stayed in was well furnished, with a balcony overlooking the greenery. The washroom was very clean with all necessary gadgets. The path from the room to the restaurant was through a well maintained garden. The swimming pool was quite good. The restaurant served sumptuous food and the price tag was reasonable. Most importantly, the behaviour of the staff was very good and extremely helpful.

We had a comfortable stay. Ours was a short stay and we could relax very well in mids of the trees. The kids enjoyed the pool and scenic beauty of the resort. The food and service were excellent, the HK staff was fast on their errands. Good to see the Resort Manager and Chef assisting the guest in the restaurant. All the hotel staffs were very welcoming and cordial and deserve an appreciation.

A really nice resort in a great location near to many shops and restaurants. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Everything about this place was really lovely. The only reason for 4 stars is our neighbours downstairs were loudly talking and partying outside our window until 4am and reception didn’t seem able to do anything about it which was a real shame.

I had wonderful stay, The experience was amazing Ms.Shilpa from reception had the best smile and she is very helpful.The restuarants are nice and the checkin and check out was very smooth. very good location staff is very helpful, Very spacious and clean room with very good view & nice pool and staff is very professional from restaurant and excellent services.

Really we enjoyed our stay at Abad, Thekkady. We booked 3 cottages for 10 persons through the resort's online booking facility. The rooms were so clean and comfortable; worth for money too. Complementary breakfast was also good. Totally nice place to stay.

We booked Jungle rooms and we stayed for 2 days with family and friends. Many tourist spots are close by, the resort had good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, help desk staff at the reception were polite, swimming pools were clean. Car parking space were adequate. Jungle rooms do not have any AC but the management can install one and can be used based on the customer preference. Overall had a plesant stay, will recommend to others.
