People always say “you get what you paid for”. However, at Residence Inn Kuwait City, the said concept was thoroughly overturned. As a Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, I am proud to say that I got much more than what I paid for. The services on offer by the professional and dedicated team of associates were of a a top-notch quality well exceeding my expectation of a typical three-star property. I was taken very care of throughout my stay. First of all, I very much appreciate their offer of complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off services which made my arrival experience the smoothest and most hassle-free ever. Upon entry into the hotel lobby I received an overwhelmingly warm welcome from the Front Office team who were well noted of my room preference and amenities requests which I communicated to them by email in advance of my arrival. I also spoke to them about my preference for staying in a room with the unobstructed view of the Kuwait Towers, and they were extremely kind to have blocked a few rooms and let me decide which one to stay after the room tours. I was so grateful to their help, without which I could never be able to make gorgeous captures of the sunrise iconic to Kuwait. My corner room was nicely prepared with all the requested amenities set up, and without any families with kids staying nearby for the sake of quiet ambience. All associates of the Front Office team whom I met with throughout my stay are super friendly, hospitable and welcoming. Their passion about servicing as well as commitment to service excellence are so unbeatable that I could hardly ever find a team of a comparable quality in any other Marriott properties. They tried their utmost efforts on seeking whatever ways they could to create a flawless and seamless experience for me from checkin all the way through checkout. As I was given to understand from Ayoub, the Hotel Operations Manager, the team at Residence Inn Kuwait City has been taking pride in offering some sorts of personalisation in hospitality such that guests would arrive with surprises, stay at ease and check out with all memorable moments taken back home. As such, I wish to send across my conpliments to a number of Front Office and Guest Experience team members (including but not limited to Neeta, Nidhi, Ruman, Mounir, Diana, Ahtisham etc.) in recognition of their dedication and hard work which not just live up to but also surpass the conventional Marriott standard. I am more than happy to give them high commendations which they all truly deserve!
