My wife and 6 year old child decided to have a little getaway. We chose this hotel because of how centrally it’s located. Upon checking in, they realized that the AC wasn’t working in their room. They politely asked if someone can take a look. A maintenance worker came and said that the problem is specific to the room and that they should move to a different room. Upon moving to a different room on a different floor, they had the same issue. No AC. The person at the front desk told them that the hotel is full and that this is a hotel wife issue. They were offered fans to keep the room cool and was asked to open the balcony door for some fresh air. Remember, she was with a 6 year old kid, opening a balcony door wasnt a good idea. My wife checked out the following morning and asked how can the hotel make it right for their experience (the room was hot and uncomfortable to sleep in, despite having a floor fan). She was told to call and speak to the GM.
We called the following day and I got a chance to speak to the worst manager I’ve spoken to. A lady who was totally rude and unprofessional. Basically called my wife a liar and said that there is nothing she is willing to do. The GM told us that the hotel had plenty of rooms that night and…. Most frustrating part… the AC issue was only in a few rooms. Most of the rooms did have AC that night. She mentioned that my wife was offered to move (for the third time) and declined which is totally false. I will never stay at this hotel.
