Paradero Todos Santos - Exclusive Experiences Included

Al ser un hotel reconocido por ser de lujo te esperas que las instalaciones y el servicio hagan match, a la bienvenida todo bien se acercaron a llevarnos los papeles sin embargo al ser clientes nuevos jamas nos dieron recorrido de las instalaciones solo nos llevaron a la habitacion, al ir al restaurante TENOCH eramos solo una mesa y el servicio era lento y no atento, llegaron americanos y claro con sonrisa los recibieron como si nosotros no valieramos, al rato se acercó Leopoldo excelente persona sin dudarlo y sin saber nada nos sacó platica. Claramente si queremos dar una segunda oportunidad esperando esto cambie ya que las instalaciones estan muy bonitas. Por ultimo considero que deberían de consuderar manejar un stock completo de kits de hiegiene(crema,pasta dental, cepillos etc)

Atención buena en recepción a la llegada, mal servicio en cuartos… la habitación que me asignaron no estaba lista, carecía de limpieza… cama sin sábanas y almohadas incompletas, igualmente sin rack para cortinas y tapar el sol. Previo a mi llegada solicite un servicio de transporte privado al aeropuerto de La Paz … me dijeron me enviarían por correo cotización, nunca llegó. Tuve que conseguir por mi cuenta un chofer y pagar el servicio independiente… el día que hice mi check out en el front desk me lo querían cobrar como si hubiera sido un servicio de ellos.

Everything was great, really cool. Except one thing. They play with the exchange rate always in their favor. Prices might be in dollars or pesos (come on, is Mexico!!!!) and they use and abuse the exchange rate. That´s not elegant.

Staying at Paradero was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. From the moment you arrive, the whole place radiates peace and a deep connection to nature, while still offering every comfort you could want. The design is stunning! every detail feels intentional and inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The food at Tenoch is absolutely spectacular, definitely worthy of a Michelin mention, fresh, creative, and bursting with local flavors. I left feeling completely recharged and inspired. Definitely a place I can’t wait to come back to.

The property is very beautiful. The staff is wonderful. The food is delicious. My only and large complaint is that I was told the pool heater was under repair and not currently working but according to two separate friends who had been before, they were told the same. So it appears the pool is not heated at all and the jacuzzi has not worked as well and that is something that should be listed or made aware of. The property is in a desolate area and there is not a lot to do unless you will be driving. For me the point of a hotel like that is to escape and get away and not go anywhere and it should be listed that a large amenity like that is not working or disclose it’s not a heated pool. In addition there was a hole along the pool wall where a light was taken out and not replaced where I placed my foot while in the pool and I could have cut myself badly. Fortunately the metal object did not break my skin even though it was very sharp and did hurt a lot.

The Secret to Staying at Paradero: Need Nothing. Beautiful hotel, stunning landscapes—but if you actually need anything, good luck. Room service? Expect an hour-long wait for the wrong order, followed by another wait for the right one (spoiler: still wrong). We ordered a pot of coffee every morning, and every morning it was mysteriously rerouted to another room. Maybe someone out there had the best-caffeinated trip of their life. Communication? Everything goes through WhatsApp, where responses are either crickets or a heartfelt “I’ll look into that” (spoiler: they won’t). They do have a phone line, but it’s apparently decorative. The Art Walk tour was a true adventure—we arranged for a late pickup, confirmed it, then spent hours texting into the void while slowly accepting our fate as permanent town residents. Just as we were scouting local inns, they finally responded. The food? Tasty, but half the menu was MIA, and ordering was like a game of Will They Return? (answer: usually no). Our group turned it into a running joke. Despite all this, the place is gorgeous. So if you don’t need coffee, your actual food, hand towels in the restrooms, or reliable transportation—this might be the perfect place for you!

The poor service at the hotel is unacceptable for this price point. The front desk staff was disorganized. Scheduling transport was a mess, and 3/4 rides were in old, dirty box vans. Another guest we spoke to was left stranded in town after their car didn’t show up, forcing them to take a taxi. The restaurant/pool servers either forgot items, said they were out of something, or in once case completely ignored us. The food/drinks took an unreasonable amount of time out, and when they did, they were good but nothing to write home about. The pool was freezing cold. One staff member said that the heater just broke, but there are months-old reviews online complaining of the same thing. The hotel is beautiful and the experiences were cool, but stay somewhere else and book your own experiences. I’m at a loss for how Paradero retained a one-key rating from Michelin.

One word NEVER coming back again!! We come to Cabo at least twice a year and stayed in so many high end resorts (Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, NOBU, The Cape, Esperanza, Viceroy, Le Blanc) and absolutely never experienced what we experienced here. ROOMS: NO HEATERS gets extremely cold at night especially going to the bathroom since the bathroom is not part of the room and u literally have to go outside! Also be prepared that rooms in the back/backyard have NO PRIVACY and UNSAFE…some workers from the field will be walking around and creeping on you. While I was showering I had some man hide in bushes and watch me shower. good luck taking a bath in the tub that is outside because someone will creep on you. ABSOLUTELY NOT okay! I even recorded a video of it. SERVICE: -0/10 We never got greeted at the lobby they just left us hanging the guy barely even spoke English and was talking on the phone. No one showed us around the property they just told us the room number and we had to go find ourselves. RESTAURANT: be prepared to wait for ur food for about an hour and not the fact they will get it right from the first time. this is NOT a 5* hotel or restaurant the only 5* is the price tag. For this price, I’ll rather stay in Four Seasons in Cabo where service is 5* guaranteed. My sister been wanting to come visit this hotel for so long I told her to cancel and not waster her money and time here.
