Our stay began with a difficult check in , waiting several minutes while the check in clerk kept going back to an office to check on something. We had requested a room at the back of hotel, which we did not get- and the clerk asked us to wait while she went up to "check on a room to see if it was clean". Not a great initial
impression. We followed her up because we were in a time crunch for a dinner, and the room did not have feather free pillows as we requested. She also flushed the toilet, which obviously led us to believe the room had not been prepared for us ahead of time. Upon our check out and leaving a bag in the room, our subsequent phone call from the hotel was quite strange. We had told them that we had a hassle checking in to the hotel and the clerk accused us of calling her an "a-hole". I dont think she knew the meaning of the word hassle. Regardless, we will not be staying here again and hope they give their clerks better front desk training.
