大屋酒店(The Great House Inn)

For the third time this hotel had given my room to another guest and never notified me ahead of time so this was the last time and I went across the street to another hotel. They have an excuse every time that "Another guest extended their stay" but they fail to understand that the proper thing to have told that guest was "You can stay longer but you have to vacate this room because someone else has already paid for it." Instead they chose to inconvenience me. They have friendly staff and the rooms are nice, just be aware you might not get the room you booked and paid for.

It was very noisy and the front desk attendant basically left after we checked in! The beds were super uncomfortable. It also says they provide airport shuttle they do not. This place needs major upgrades.

Property is located in the historic district of downtown Belize City. The Inn itself is historic, so there are high ceilings, wood floors, and stairs to access the rooms. We found the stay comfortable. The rooms were clean. One drawback was the outside light from the neighboring property into our room, as the shades weren't blackout. Several restaurants within walking distance.

We needed a place to stay in downtown Belize City and this was a good location. The room was nice and clean. Thank you for a nice stay.

Hotel went beyond my expectations. Room was nice and very spacious and more than comfortable for two people. Bathroom was also spacious. Service from the front desk was excellent.

Premises is under renovation so limited services (no food or pool access). Staff was friendly and service was excellent. Room was clean and bright. Hotel across the street provided missing services.

Friendly, helpful staff, nice room and building, nice pool. Very dead neighbourhood on a Sunday. Ill have to see what it is like on Monday.

This is a lovely hotel with an interesting history. It was a pleasant way to end out vacation since we only stayed here one night before catching our flight home.
