This is our third summer staying at The Georgian. Each summer we find they have upgraded something here. This year we have found the food to be amazing. We have found the hotel and pool to be clean, the location ideal and a huge shoutout to one of the managers named Chris. He is out here running around making this place wonderful. No job is beneath him. He is helping clean the pool, bringing out food, serving drinks and making the place look wonderful. My father is heading to the racetrack and was looking for a racing program. While he was running work errands he was looking for a racing program for my dad. Chris is a 5 star manager! Thank you to Chris and all the staff for making our family trip wonderful!

Very nice property....well maintained and clean. Beach and pool was great, enough lounge chairs everyday. Food was all great!! Great staff and shout out to Demar and Maggie!! Great location to the village and area attractions. Will return

Stayed here Sep 19 and 20. Nice location, right on the water. Good bar /happy hour with great view of the lake. We were in room 204 right above the beach and swim area, so paid a premium for that location. Problems with the room-old popcorn ceiling, curtain rod not attached to curtain, no stopper in bathroom sink (my wife has contacts so very important), two holes in bathroom wall, another two holes that had been patched but not painted, shower is small, but biggest issue was the toilet was not bolted to the floor so it rocked back and forth. They never should have rented this room.

My wife looked up the Georgian, they had a deal $25 off each day or $40 towards breakfast each day. We decided to go Lake George without reservations. Upon arriving we stopped at several different places to compare prices. We stopped at the Georgian and asked to see the suite, nice room with a nice view of the lake. We decided to take the room but my wife had to bring up the deal as the front desk NEVER mentioned it. First night we stayed, they had a sign advertising "Pasta Night", my wife went to the dining room to ask about it, she was told it started at 6 pm. She said great we'll be back. Went to the tiki bar and stayed until 6:30pm, my wife returned to the dining room to see if "Pasta Night" started, she returned to the bar with a scowl on her face and very annoyed, I asked what wrong?, she stated they're not having it now. I went to the dining room and sign was still up, I spoke with the waitress and she told me the same. I told her they should take the sign down. Second day, left the maid service tag on the door, we returned later that evening and found room was not cleaned. Next morning went to front desk to complain. They apologized and said it would be done today. Left for the day and returned early evening, AGAIN, the room was not cleaned. My wife was livid, went to the front desk to complain, for money spent, told them this is unacceptable. Front desk asked if we wanted our room cleaned, we said "OF COURSE WE DO" We have stayed at several different places in Lake George and for even minor inconveniences they offered some sort of compensation, the Georgian OFFERED NOTHING!! Highly disappointed at our stay here.

The website shows a nice, renovated hotel. Show me where. Because my room is horrible. Water damage on the ceiling. Ripped pillows with the stuffing falling out. Broken safety latch-we barricaded the door with the chair in there. The shower leaked all over the floor because the curtain isn’t long enough. There is a smell. Nothing about this room is nice, and it’s certainly not renovated.

The room was very nice, with a beautiful lakeside view. Plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy the view. Enjoyed the food at the cabana bar, happy hour specials were a plus. Great communication from the staff, room issue addressed and fixed immediately

Not sure where to begin. Starting with the "positives"... the beds were really comfortable and it is a great place for families with young ones. Unfortunately that was about it. The entire place needs a complete overhaul. It is extremely run down. The term "resort" is quite a stretch. It is more like a motel/hotel. The walls are paper thin so if you're looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, this would not be the place for you. It could be an incredible resort under the right management.

Great location, awesome outdoor area including pool, bar, fire pits, chairs, tables and loungers all overlooking the beautiful Lake George. 5 minute walk to everything. Free parking, wifi. Rooms were big, our bathroom could’ve used a bigger sink/storage area. $5 Happy Hour, good on-site restaurant for breakfast/lunch at reasonable prices. Hint: Try and get 1st floor room. Will 100% return

This hotel is an absolute scam. First, they made us do a three night minimum and next thing we know they resold our room Sunday night when we came back from our lacrosse tournament in Lake George Sunday afternoon… They never confirmed that we were gone and took all of the food and belongings out of the room… They never called emailed or text to ensure that we were not going to come back to the hotel. The manager was unapologetic and turned it around on me and my family. What an absolute joke of management and policy that someone could just kick us out of our room without our permission .
