Georgian Lakeside Resort was amazing! The staff were friendly, and the rooms were very clean. My friends and I (we’re all around 27) really enjoyed the beach access to the lake the chairs and setup were very comfortable. The amenities were great, and kayak or paddleboard rentals were very reasonably priced (only $10 for a kayak and $20 for a paddleboard). The bar’s happy hour and food were also great, especially while hanging around the pool! The Georgian is in a great location, and everything was within walking distance. While there were quite a few families and a lot kids around, it didn’t really bother us but if you’re looking for more of an adults-only vibe, you might want to look elsewhere. That said, the amenities and overall experience really sold us. We would definitely return and recommend this resort to everyone!

Great place !! All the staff were awesome!! Friendly and very efficient!! Had a very nice getaway . And perfect to see the fireworks!!! Would definitely go back !!! Highly recommend!!

The service was great and the views phenomenal! The fall foliage here was amazing the best views one can ask for. The rooms were clean and they decorated for my husband’s birthday. It was super nice and sweet. They worked with you at all hours. Staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to see how spring and summer looks like!

This place is an affordable place right on the lake! It offers breath taking views and nice amenities like outdoor fire pits. If in a pinch you can also get food there. The food isn’t special but there are tons of places around you to eat!

I would highly recommend the Georgian. We did a weekend away with friends. It's a perfect location to walk the village. The tiki bar is in a great location for enjoying the evening on the lake. Loved sitting on the private little beach area with my feet in the water. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We will be back next time we visit Lake George.

We stayed here for a few days in August. The word resort can be confusing because this is a motel. They do have chairs outside each room, so you can sit in the hallway when you wake up or want to get out of the room. They say you are not allowed to smoke on the balcony/hallway, but they do not enforce this. The man in the room next to us was smoking morning, noon and night. I couldn’t leave my door open or sit outside because he was smoking. There were also people at the other end of the hall who brought their own ashtray even though the motel has a designated smoking section. We opted to order food outside at the pool the first night since we got in late. They sat us at a firepit that was filthy. They didn’t wipe anything down before we sat there. We had low expectations for the food, but it was pretty bad. The veggie burger wasn’t even warm enough and the mozzarella sticks were just strange. They advertise you can have smores, but then they charge you for the smores kit. I asked for a 1 hour delayed check out on the day we left and they said they do not offer that. 1 hour? Really? The rooms were clean, and when our toilet got clogged, they were responsive. Absolutely stunning view. Not sure if those balanced out the negatives.
