I recently stayed at this hotel in Lake George, and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere especially the beds and pillows. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, with Janice, being particularly helpful and attentive. The garden area was beautifully maintained, thanks to Riccardo & Gary, dedicated efforts. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lake George; it offers exceptional service and a well-kept environment that truly enhances the stay. We will definitely stay here again hands down !! Cleanest Hotel we've ever stayed in! Decent size room. Staff very friendly. Nice pool! We met many people from different cities and some from other parts of the world. The hotel is located in the southeast corner of Lake George within walking distance of many novelty stores and restaurants.

Stayed one night at the Quality Inn Lake George in July. A brief stop off on a family road trip. Loved absolutely everything about this hotel! Received such a wonderful warm welcome from Janice the hotel receptionist when we arrived. Such a friendly, kind, funny lady. Best welcome we have ever had. The hotel was amazing and is situated at in such a beautiful location. Lake George truly is stunning. A very short walk to the lake, millionaire’s beach, restaurants & shops. All rooms were overlooking pool with a coffee machine, safe, great shower with toiletries. Really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. My children especially loved the waffles. Lovely heated outdoor pool & hot tub. Pool towels are available. Fire pit with surrounding tables/chairs. We enjoyed relaxing there before bed. Can’t wait to return, we will definitely be back!

We had a nice one night stay, on our way to Canada. This was a nice size room and a good location. I would definitely recommend this motel. This is where I would stay if I was visiting Lake George if I was staying longer. They offer a free breakfast although I didn’t have , it sounded nice. A beautiful swimming pool in the center which looked very inviting.

Perfectly located in the village of Lake George, walking distance to restaurants, shops and activities. Rooms were very quiet even by the Main Street! Immaculate grounds and very clean rooms. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer. Breakfast was good but the room it was served in was a little snug. Definitely the hotel to stay.

The hotel was wonderful. The room was large and so clean. The bed was so soft and the pillows were great! It had a refrigerator, table and chairs, and all the amenities. We had an outside patio with chairs and table. A sliding glass door opened on to the patio. As far as breakfast I have never had such a complimentary spread. There was waffles, cereal, baked goods, all kinds of toast, sausage, eggs, juice, and coffee. We definitely booked another trip there.

I am not sure how this hotel got such great reviews. Judging a book by it's cover it does look very nice. We had passed by on a prior trip to the area and thought it looked so pretty and modern and that's why we tried it this time. The exterior has been totally renovated, new siding, PVC railings, a beautiful new looking pool and hot tub. Very nice landscaping. That's where it ends. The rooms are old, dingy, and musty. They seemed clean enough but the musty smell and the dingy old carpet and patched up wallpaper made it just seem dirty. The room was dark and the outlets were placed in odd places- high up on light fixtures so charging your phone was challenging unless you had a very long charging cord. The towels and linens were very thin. We stayed 2 nights and nobody came to clean our room, empty our garbages, make our beds, restock towels and tissues etc. We waited all day for maid service and finally gave up when it was time to get ready for dinner. I was under the impression and it's advertised as having "Daily Housekeeping". I guess not. We just had an overall feeling of being uncomfortable the whole time. My daughter didn't even want to shower while we were there because the bathroom was "creepy" in her words. There was also a constant smell of pot in the outdoor spaces, and cigarette butts and empty beer cans often littered the walkways. I didn't find it very family friendly to be honest. Based on the rooms I would have given a 2 star rating, but I added a star for the really nice exterior and grounds and the pool area. We were just very disappointed.

Love, love, love this hotel! Great amenities, including a pool, a Jacuzzi, fire pit and exercise room. Downtown Lake George is only minutes away walking. Every room has a porch. Right now, I am sitting here just watching people sitting on their porches talking to each other, reading books and just having a good time. The beds are a little more firm than I would like, but they do have nice feathered pillows. Housekeeping staff have been very nice as well. Next time we come back to Lake George will definitely be staying here again!

My wife and I had a great experience at the Quality Inn Lake George. Our primary reason for the trip was the Star Trek Set Tour in Ticonderoga (about an hour north of Lake George), but everything else we wanted to do was in LG. I am usually leery of Choice Hotels - we have had very mixed experiences - but this Quality Inn was by far the best. The rest of the chain could learn a lot from this one hotel. Pros: ＞ The room did not have an overpowering smell of cleaning solutions when we walked in - but everything was spotless. ＞ The maintenance crew was on top of things. Our sink drain was running a little slow. They had it fixed while we were out exploring the area! ＞ The location was perfect. Within walking distance of almost everything. ＞ The breakfast was standard fare for this level of motel. But the staff kept everything supplied and the counters clean. Cons: ＞ The breakfast was standard fare. :-) I know this is probably corporate controlled, but I miss when they had real scrambled eggs. ＞ No elevator. So if you have any issues climbing stairs with luggage, you should request a first floor. Again - not a big issue, but just wanted folks to be aware.
