Just the most wonderful bed and breakfast in the most beautiful Lake George. The food is amazing. Breakfast was just great and dinner was phenomenal. Truly culinary delight. The restaurant manager Nathalie is just amazing. We chatted with her at the bar before dinner and she made a delicious pairing of wine for each course of our meal. Can’t recommend enough a weekend getaway at the Inn, but if you are in Lake George you NEED to add the Inn for dinner!

The Condos are not well maintained. Great old estate where they built condos on the front lawn in the 90's. Access is hard,very hilly and for most units you cannot park close. The maintenance and upkeep are lacking. Our bed had no box spring mattress so we were sleeping a foot off the floor, Stained furniture and carpet, Drywall under repair... the price was right but look at the photos to make sure you are up for this place. --

This place is absolutely gorgeous!! It's a castle and the rooms are lavishly decorated and super clean. My sister and I absolutely loved it! The pool is lovely and the lake is beautiful. Beds are so comfy and the rooms are just stunning. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I went for our 43rd Wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful with a nice bathroom, whirlpool tub and comfy bed. A step back in time. And the views of the lake were fantastic! We had dinner and breakfast which were wonderful. And, not the ordinary restaurant food and service. 5 star chef and kitchen.! Even ran into couple whose daughter was a friend of our daughter in grade school (Fayetteville Manlius,NY). They were there for dinner and they now live nearby Lake George.

The Erlowest was just what we were looking for. We wanted a relaxed, elegant, comfortable base from which to explore Lake George, and that's just what the hotel provided. The food, service, and rooms were all excellent, and the Erlowest is a piece of history, to boot.

A beautiful inn built from the 1898 home of Edward Shepherd. The "castle suites" are the upstairs bedroom suites which retain the old world charm, but have been fully restored and appointed with lovely modern conveniences, including jet tubs, gas fireplaces (I used mine!) and all the conveniences of a 5-star hotel room. Breakfasts (included optionally) were terrific, and dinner, served indoors and on the patio, was wonderful. And oh, that patio... overlooking the lake with comfy couches and an open fireplace and bar just inside. It will be where you will spend your time relaxing. The full adirondack treatment. Cleanliness and service were top-notch. Be aware that they keep the hotel somewhat cool, so you may use your gas fireplace and certainly you will bury yourself in the big fluffy four-poster bed!
