This is a hidden gem. We had a wonderful stay, the staff was friendly and personable. We received an upgrade which was unexpected. We stayed in a deluxe double queen on the second floor. Loved the fridge and coffee maker. With a grocery store a couple of blocks away we were able to grab some snacks and we would sit outside with coffee and snacks and enjoy the beautiful evening with views and conversation. This is not a 5 star resort but that’s what we loved about it. We have stayed in high end hotels and though they are nice, they are cold and not very friendly and don’t have the charm that this place has. Will recommend and stay here again.

This place was a hidden gem. The staff was amazing and even called me to say they had to step out so the gentleman at the front desk gave me my room number and said he would leave the door open and put the key on the table. It's so nice that there are still people out there that have trust in others. Rooms were fantastic!! Cute little cottage like rooms. Location was perfect!! Walking distance to most areas. This is the type of place I think of when staying in this area, not your typical motel.

Admiral hotel is not flexible with cancellation policy. We made arrangements 16 days prior to when we planned go, in order to cancel, it must be done within 2 weeks…unfortunately we had a family emergency. They did not meet our request for cancellation. The direct quote from the manager “if you bought Billy Joel concert tickets, and had an emergency, he would still have his concert” Did not meet request for cancellation, even though they will most likely fill the room, and also would not offer any form of credit for a future visit to Lake George.

I have stayed here with my family every summer. It is clean and the staff are nice. The pool is amazing and never really crowded. You can tell the owners care about their guests. It’s right near the village so you can just walk everywhere which is good. The air conditioning was so good. And the flowers outside near the pool were beautiful. Another amazing stay at the Admiral Motel!

Clean, comfortable accommodations in a fantastic location on the ***** in Lake George Village. Nice and helpful staff and walking distance to just about everything. Clean pool, beautiful flowers and landscaping. Always my first choice for a relaxing stay!

We just came back from Lake George and we LOVED The Admiral Motel! The grounds are pristine and the owners take great pride in the Motel from the pool, porch and grounds. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The Motel is short walk to town and the Lake. Enjoyed our stay and chatting with the owners was fun! Definitely be back and highly recommend this little slice If heaven in Lake George

Another AMAZING experience. We ALWAYS stay at the Admiral when we visit Lake George (our fifth year in a row) Daryl is the most wonderful host. He treats his guests like royalty. The rooms are spotless as is the pool. The grounds are pristine. You will not be disappointment!

I typically stay at 4-5 star hotels but decided to give this motel a shot because of the great reviews. My husband and I went over 4th of July weekend and they were fully booked. We booked the cheapest room which was a decent size but the bathroom was incredibly small with a tiny shower. The bed and towels were clean but the room wasn’t very thoroughly clean. There was a dead moth smushed on the wall, the shower looked disgusting, the toilet paper was half used, and the comforter on the bed smelled musty and unclean. I would really say that this is a 3 star motel and if you are used to higher end hotels, you might not like this motel. I wouldn't come back unfortunately. I might recommend to travelers that are used to motels though.

Spent a couple nights on lake George and stayed at the admiral. Real family oriented place. We had 2 queen room. The refrigerator was good as was the water pressure in the shower. Beds very comfortable and got good night sleep. Sky light on second floor allowed I. Some natural light. Nice touch. AC worked great. No elevator but the stairs had a good railing so they were no problem.

Very affordable, clean, cute and quaint, wholesome vibe! Staff very friendly and they will take breakfast orders and deliver to your room at a time you select the following morning! Excellent location/walkability while remaining more quiet at night.

The Admiral is a very cozy place to stay. Rooms are extremely clean and the owners are very accommodating. By far one of the best places to stay in Lake George! Close to restaurants, beaches. Has a great pool. We loved it!

Stayed here several times and we enjoyed our stay. Place is clean, pleasant, and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here. It is also so close to downtown Lake George with all the stores restaurants and etc. Easy access to everything.

Lovely motel. My family had three deluxe rooms in a row which was perfect. The place is so clean. The rooms, the grounds, the pool, all super clean. The refrigerator is the largest I've ever had in a motel room, so that was great. AC worked great, shower pressure was perfect. Everyone in my family commented on how comfy the beds were. It's very quiet, yet close to the main ***** of Lake George Village. A 5-10 minute walk to all the fun. Met Darrell when we checking out and he was so sweet. Thank you for a wonderful place for us to rest our tired bodies after enjoying beautiful Lake George!!
